Tramas Hotel & Spa

Olbia City Center
Boutique hotel located just off the centre in a narrow road with limited parking. Stayed four nights as good base for travelling around Costa Smeralda. Very friendly and helpful staff. It has a great spa in basement. Nice bedroom and very comfy beds and a pleasant bathroom. Must make a special mention of the excellent breakfast and the lovely lady who serves it. Definitely recommend.
Hotel Martini Olbia

The hotel is OK. Good points: Rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfy. The shower was good, and air conditioning worked well. Not so good points: The location is not the best. Some rooms overlook the grafitti walled port and a large carpark, which is used by boy racers in the evenings. The rooms overlooking the nice park have a better outlook. The balconies are very narrow and are unusable and house the aircon unit. The staff on the whole are very nice and helpful. We were part of a large Leger coach party and had breakfast and dinner included. The breakfasts were good, but the dinners were poor to inedible. Drinks were a bit above average prices, but the room has a fridge, and there is a supermarket along the side of the park. Although not a good location, it is an easy walk to the town which has many restaurants and upmarket shops. There is also a bus (4) outside the hotel that is a 15-20 min trip (€1.50) to a lovely local beach as there is no pool. There is a large terrace off the restaurant, which they did let me sit and use even when the restaurant was closed. For a 4* hotel, I think it is more a 3*

We experienced the hotel as very pleasant; -Good beds. -Douche top, enough hot water. -Airco. -Balcony, looking at the shopping street super pleasant. (Well a little loud but it's going to sleep) - Breakfast, great choices. But the best of all, your private tour guide Aka Roberto! Roberto took his time to explain everything with which places to visit the best. Also he knew to tell us which restaurant we had to visit depending on the choice of meat. In general, the hotel is located in a beautiful shopping street with a lot to do and a delicious ice, right next to the left. Success and a little Italian ”Il Dolce far nothing”

L'Essenza Hotel

This hotel is wonderful! Booked 3 nights for the beginning of our trip to Sardinia this April with the intention of travelling on but decided we liked Olbia and L’Essenza so much that we stayed for a full week. The hotel is newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable and quiet and relaxing. All the staff are fantastic, from everyone on reception to the breakfast team and the housekeeping team, they are all dedicated professionals with exceptional customer service skills, and all so friendly and kind. We needed a relaxing holiday and definitely had it staying at L’Essenza. Our Italian is basic but the staff all have excellent English and we were given great tips on restaurants to visit. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and catered for different dietary requirements including gluten intolerance which was very helpful. The scrambled eggs and omelettes were the best ever and with the freshly squeezed blood orange juice it was heavenly.
