The hot spring was much smaller than the picture, and the open-air bath was surrounded by a cover, so it didn't feel open. The blankets provided in the room were very smelly. We enjoyed the wine tasting.

The hotel is way up in the mountain. The road driving up has curves. Breakfast in the hotel is great. We had dinners at the nearby village.

Used on tour. It was already dark outside when I took the bus, so I was wondering where I was going to be taken, but it turned out to be a hotel at the top of a mountain. The size of the room was perfect, and there were three beds. The meal was a buffet and there wasn't a lot of variety, but I enjoyed a lot of local cuisine. It also included an all-you-can-drink option, so I was able to fully enjoy the hotel's unique wine. There is a wine tasting corner next to the front desk, and you buy a 1,000 yen or 2,000 yen card at the front desk and drink from the tasting machine. Since the price per cup is different and you don't have change, you have to be smart about the combinations. This was also quite fun. There are ski resorts and golf courses in the surrounding area, and the scenery is beautiful, so if you have time, I think it would be a good idea to take a walk around the area.

We were a little worried about the narrow mountain pass road we took to get to the hotel at dusk, but the night view of the Tsugaru Plain below us was beautiful. The next morning was also a clear day, and we had a great view of Mt. Iwaki, Hakkoda, and the Tsugaru Plain.
The room was a comfortable Japanese-Western style room suitable for a family.

The hotel itself had different routes and the corridors were long, so it was difficult to find your room, but the large public bath was nice and spacious.
The hotel is on top of a mountain, so I'm sure the view would have been amazing if the weather had been good, but it rained heavily the next morning, and to top it off we had a power outage during breakfast, which was quite a challenge.
However, what was impressive was how kind and polite the hotel staff were and how supportive they were.
