Hotel Capo d'Orso Thalasso & Spa

Incomparable location and facilities for an all round fantastic holiday. Our first stay at Capo d’Orso itself but we have been to this magical area many times and will doubtless return again. It made for a wonderfully relaxing time with our family to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel capo D’orso Sardinia - the hotel was absolutely amazing but ultimately the staff was outstanding particularly Khadija who welcomed us when we arrived and honestly made this whole trip a dream- she was extremely informative and kind and also made sure were looked after in every little detail- She made a huge difference to this trip and we are so thankful we met her !!! Her genuine smile and hospitality made a huge difference - thank you for Khadija for making this trip amazing and of course the location is just stunning

Perfect location. Really very nice place to relax. An Excellent service in hotel and in restaurants. Fabulous breakfasts in garden restaurant with sea view. Perfect boat service. Very nice hotel beach with beach bar, umbrellas … We will come back.

We enjoyed our holiday very much!! Very nice hotel!! Very friendly staff!! Excellent food!! The location is very nice, quiet and relaxing. We would recommend the hotel!! And we hope to come back soon again!!

We stayed four nights in a sea view room (#513). Our room was not large, but very comfortable and a good king bed. We had a balcony with two chairs and a table overlooking the water. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was small, but had sufficient counter space. The room was serviced twice a day and fresh towels were provided each time. The hotel grounds are stunning and there are plenty of places to relax. We never tired of looking at the gin-clear water of the Mediterranean. The service at the hotel is first rate. We were on the half board which meant dinners were included but only at the main restaurant. Dining at any of the other restaurants on the property would involve a charge. Each night we were offered a four course dinner and the food came very quickly. The food was decent, but nothing special. Some of the dishes, such as my swordfish bathed in tomato sauce, were duds. There was too much food. Breakfasts, on the other hand, were exceptional.

Wow! This is a very, very special property. The grounds are just magical providing for the perfect Sardinian experience. Impeccably clean, every detail well thought out. Our room was beautiful, housekeeping was outstanding. The entire staff incredible. Cheerful, professional, engaging and genuine. Most notably Davila, Angelo and Claudio- 3 of the most elegant and professional people we have ever come across. It was a slice of heaven. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed here in September 2023 and had an absolutely fantastic stay. - The views are incredible, you will not get tired of waking up to them every day, particularly at Breakfast where you will be greeted by someone playing the harp! - You have a choice of areas to be during the day for sunbathing (Pool, Beach, or a decking area which is a bit different) - You will also not be short of things to do, there is a spa, a gym with a great view, kayaks, hikes up to a lighthouse, and boat trips (we hired a small boat for a group of 4 of us and had a great day out around the various lagoons with turquoise waters) - Recommend that you hire a car, it is around 45-60 mins drive from Olbia airport and there are lots of nice places to go out and eat in the evening in Palau as well as the resort - We saved on flights by going with a cheaper airline so we could spend more money on going for a room with a view and definitely feel like that was the right choice as the room was excellent and spacious - All the staff were incredibly friendly, right up to the General Manager who went out of his way to ask for feedback and make sure we were enjoying ourselves - The restaurants were all excellent, we would definitely recommend going to Ile Flottande (Alessandro gives excellent service) - Great local food options and the hotel is very conscious of its carbon footprint / renewable energy sources which you can read about everywhere - And even if you do not drink, there are several non-alcoholic drink options from zero alcohol to mocktails, catering for everyone We would highly recommend Capo D'Orso and hope to return there in the future.

The first impression is that of a charming hotel surrounded by nature. The swimming pool is quiet small but well maintained with all the sunbeds hidden in nature, allowing guests privacy and intimacy. Every year we go back for the solariums which allow easy access to the emerald sea. During the aperitif, the terrace overlooking the sea allows us to enjoy both, the delicious cocktails and the breathtaking landscapes of the facility comin out with live music every evening. The restaurants are all exceptional with different menus. The biggest treat is the staff who are always available and friendly (Nicola, Roger, Loreta, the reception and the general manager).I would like to mention all of them. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice for our stay. Every year it looks better and better, the delicious Paguro cuisine is a state of mind and taste havin all seaview tables. we enjoyed restaurant by the sea with lots of choice. The initial welcome already put us straight in a calm, relaxing and exclusive environment. The Spa is beautiful and same time competent with the massages of Patrizia and Martina Unfortunately, this holiday didn't last long but we will back soon.
