I guess we found our Sicillyian mom! Sylvia is the cutest person ive ever met! My grandma made for me the same breakfast like she did it. Every food what she made taste like pure love and happiness. We felt ourselves like the part of a sicillyan family. She saved us when we needed to leave a horrible hotel in Palermo. She even offered to pick us up and take us to her place. Nice clean room with a.c. and own bathroom. Location is great (15 min far from the beautiful Spiaggi di Mondello beach). Definetly will visit her again next time when we go there. This B & B is perfectly located at about 20 minutes from/to the airport. Also, only about 15 minutes walk from Mondello beach, well worth a visit. There's a bakery and fruiterer close by, and a local pizza take away almost opposite. Parking on the road outside isn't easy, but that's that's same everywhere in Sicily. ( I would think twice about driving in Sicily, if I were you. ) The apartment is the on the 3rd floor of a typical suburban block, with a terrace for breakfast. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, and include a simple croissant and cake breakfast. The host is the most delightful person you could ever wish to meet, and well worthy of an almost clean sweep of 5 star reviews.

Wir haben 3 Nächte bei Silvia verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Sie bietet von Palermo Hbf einen Tranfer bis zum Apartment an (ca. 25€ pro Strecke). Gerne erklärt sie aber auch den Weg per Bus. Wir haben sie als sehr offene und liebenswerte Gastgeberin kennengelernt, die auf ihre Gäste eingeht, aber sich nicht aufdrängt. Je nach Vorliebe bereitet sie ein herzhaftes oder süßes Frühstück vor und gibt Tipps für Unternehmungen um Mondello. Das Zimmer war modern, sauber und hatte ein kleines Bad. In der Wohnung kann man eine Küchenzeile nutzen. Hier gibt sogar einen Trinkwasseranschluss. Das Haus liegt in einer Seitenstraße, man findet also nachts zur Ruhe (was wir nach der ersten Unterkunft dringend gebraucht haben). In der Nähe gibt es Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Strand ist ca 15-20 Gehminuten entfernt, was für uns jedoch kein Problem war. Donnerstags wird in der Straße früh ein Markt aufgebaut, was mit geschlossenen Fenstern allerdings kein Problem war. Wer eine authentische und nette Unterkunft sucht, der ist bei Silvia richtig! Gerne wieder!
