Here's a very honest, personal review of this hotel. There are downsides but I'll save that for later. You have to consider its location. Our travel day (Oct 8th). Gatwick to Thessaloniki. Transfer through Holiday Extras / T4A (Transfers 4 All). This took 2 hours or so. We got the holiday through a British Airways sale. The 4* hotel is in between villages. You will need a car or take on the bus routes available to get around. Immediate village is Pefkohori. At least a mile away. The beach is a good 10 to 15 minute walk through streets across a busy road. The village is walkable but is the only one that is. Check in was painless. Receptionist cum manager was super friendly. "Porter" takes your luggage to your room. We got a free "end of season" upgrade to a family room. The 2nd floor room was spacious. Cleaned every day if needed. Good sized bed. Wardrobes with safe. Extra bedding. Good sized bathroom. Bedside tables. Coffee table. Two sofa beds. Power points everywhere. Bring travel plugs and all your chargers. Wi-Fi good everywhere. Dressing table with good sized mirror. TV. Fridge. Balcony with table and 4 chairs. Hanging space to dry clothes / towels. We were in room 308 which has a sea and pool view. Very special. Air con actually worked with its remote. We were on a B & B basis. You take breakfast in the Titanes restaurant. You enter via reception. You are greeted with options either side. Rice puddings / yoghurt / fruits / salads on one side. Cereals / breads / toaster / croissants on the other. Walking through you have all the jams and other spreads for your bread items. Then the "hot" food options. I tried the scrambled eggs, baked beans, "sausage", "bacon" first day. Bacon isn't a "British" bacon and the sausages are cocktail. All got cold within 5 minutes of sitting down to eat it. Then the drinks table consists three different types of coffee, teas and juices. The best hot food option is a freshly made omelette. We enjoyed breakfast once you get into the different mixes you can out together. Other facilities - a spa with pool and massage treatments. Kids play area with pool, table tennis and playground type items. The main pool with loungers. Another restaurant called Ambrosia, which we had two very nice meals at. And a bar which overlooks the pool area. All staff were very nice and friendly. Everywhere clean. Can't really fault the hotel but I will. We don't like to complain but I know some people do it just because. So, I hope that the following points are valid and will be looked into. Firstly, the room - the shower in the bathroom could not be hung up on its holder as it was too high to reach and it didn't hold very well. And one other thing to remember is that you cannot put toilet paper down the toilet. Not a complaint but something to remember. I was a bit disappointed with the hot food options at breakfast. A better way to keep things hot would be a good start
