Excellent location, lovely staff, room cleaned every day, great choice at breakfast. Only issue was early risers taking all the sun beds around the pool but that is difficult for the staff to deal with. 15 minutes to the restaurant and bars and the beach front starts a few minutes away. Overall a wonderful hotel with excellent friendly staff

Excellent food and service, beautiful room with balcony or patio. I would recommend it to my family and friends and we would certainly book this hotel again for our stay. I'm hoping to return there for holiday in the near future.

The hotel was great. Good and clean rooms, with airconditioning and a balcony. There was an indoor and an outdoor pool. Plenty of room with amazing beds in the sun/shade. The food was good; dinner was included in our price and we could order from the menu (à la carte) and the service at the reception was great. Would have given 5 stars if there would be more things to do in the area. The options to do in May on the island were very limited and a lot was closed (rent a car or do something in the water, both of them we did). Especially in the evenings the options were limited.

Here's a very honest, personal review of this hotel. There are downsides but I'll save that for later. You have to consider its location. Our travel day (Oct 8th). Gatwick to Thessaloniki. Transfer through Holiday Extras / T4A (Transfers 4 All). This took 2 hours or so. We got the holiday through a British Airways sale. The 4* hotel is in between villages. You will need a car or take on the bus routes available to get around. Immediate village is Pefkohori. At least a mile away. The beach is a good 10 to 15 minute walk through streets across a busy road. The village is walkable but is the only one that is. Check in was painless. Receptionist cum manager was super friendly. "Porter" takes your luggage to your room. We got a free "end of season" upgrade to a family room. The 2nd floor room was spacious. Cleaned every day if needed. Good sized bed. Wardrobes with safe. Extra bedding. Good sized bathroom. Bedside tables. Coffee table. Two sofa beds. Power points everywhere. Bring travel plugs and all your chargers. Wi-Fi good everywhere. Dressing table with good sized mirror. TV. Fridge. Balcony with table and 4 chairs. Hanging space to dry clothes / towels. We were in room 308 which has a sea and pool view. Very special. Air con actually worked with its remote. We were on a B & B basis. You take breakfast in the Titanes restaurant. You enter via reception. You are greeted with options either side. Rice puddings / yoghurt / fruits / salads on one side. Cereals / breads / toaster / croissants on the other. Walking through you have all the jams and other spreads for your bread items. Then the "hot" food options. I tried the scrambled eggs, baked beans, "sausage", "bacon" first day. Bacon isn't a "British" bacon and the sausages are cocktail. All got cold within 5 minutes of sitting down to eat it. Then the drinks table consists three different types of coffee, teas and juices. The best hot food option is a freshly made omelette. We enjoyed breakfast once you get into the different mixes you can out together. Other facilities - a spa with pool and massage treatments. Kids play area with pool, table tennis and playground type items. The main pool with loungers. Another restaurant called Ambrosia, which we had two very nice meals at. And a bar which overlooks the pool area. All staff were very nice and friendly. Everywhere clean. Can't really fault the hotel but I will. We don't like to complain but I know some people do it just because. So, I hope that the following points are valid and will be looked into. Firstly, the room - the shower in the bathroom could not be hung up on its holder as it was too high to reach and it didn't hold very well. And one other thing to remember is that you cannot put toilet paper down the toilet. Not a complaint but something to remember. I was a bit disappointed with the hot food options at breakfast. A better way to keep things hot would be a good start

The hotel its nice reception staff are lovely and very helpful. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was the dogs and cats were roaming in the breakfast restaurant. But all in all everything it’s okay.

A lovely small hotel.Wonderful staff who work hard and create a restful atmosphere. However we found the food at breakfast to be too cold from the hot selection. But the fresh omelettes are good. Cold selection is good. The beds do not have mattress protector or the pillows either, which is a must for a four star hotel. Too many cats are roaming around and going into the dining room and rooms. Also stray dogs are in the area which should be addressed by the local town,as some people are scared by them. The hotel is next to a busy road which is quite noisy and can be dicey to cross at times and need to cross to get to the beach and bus stop. The buses are usually always full so had to use taxi s to the towns, which can add to extra cost, and not always available, especially at night.

We spent a week in Flegra palace hotel using our avios partially. Read good reviews and weren't disappointed. Booked transfer through the hotel but be aware that it was the last stop and lots of people were dropped on way so it took an hour and a half to reach hotel. Hotel is very clean. Bedrooms though small have all basic luxuries like air-conditioning fridge kettle shampoo conditioner hand wash and a pull out magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The balcony has a round table chairs and a wall clothes drier. TV has only BBC news channel in English Breakfast was great with well laid out selection of everything including omelette made to order. Pool has plenty sunbeds but probably not enough during peak season. We used the spa swimming pool which is warmer. There's a Gym and message facility which we didn't use. We ate twice at the hotel and food is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mostly walked 20 minutes to Pefkohori where there are lots of restaurants near beach and in town. This was a very relaxing holiday and a good break.

What a lovely hotel. Booked last minute and paid for an Executive room. Arrived and we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows were perfect and sleep was easy due to comfort. The whole place was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was plentiful with so much choice. Omelette and pancake cooked to order. Lots of fruit and cold cut meats. We only booked b&b but we did eat at the hotel. Once for lunch and once for evening meal. Price was reasonable. Drinks were reasonably priced too €4.50 for a large draught beer. We booked and visited right at the end of the season so most places outside the hotel had started to slow down or close altogether, but we had a walk out every night and found plenty of places to eat. The beach is a very short walk across the road and can be seen from most rooms. Lots of people complain about road noise, we couldn't have been any closer and didn't have any issues with noise. Overall a fabulous holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Just home from 7 days at Flegra palace and we did enjoy our stay very much. The hotel is lovely and very nicely decorated and pretty clean. The pool area was exceptionally attractive and had a really relaxed ambience. I particularly liked the raised seating area over the pool it was a great place to sit and have a coffee with a bit of shade. The sun beds were definitely the most comfortable we have ever had and were quite wide which is potentially why they can’t fit so many in and why sometimes in high season may be not enough. Just guessing there . Me and my hubby could both fit on one which is unusual. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and really good quality. Omelette cooked to order was nice and hot. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfy. Now for the negatives , I thought that it had been exaggerated about road noise but it is a very busy road day and night and very close. Our balcony overlooked the road so was not pleasant to sit there despite the sea view. I tried earplugs for sleeping but would say the only thing that helped drown out the noise was the free air con and another mini fan I brought on the bedside table just about covered the noise. During the day round the pool it wasn’t as annoying to be fair. The staff were all pleasant and friendly but it was a very different experience here to the islands where we find they like to get to know you .Reception was helpful in ordering taxis etc but I was very disappointed at the end of the holiday when I felt deliberately mislead. Maybe it was a language breakdown if I’m being generous. We were told it was 50 euros to keep your room beyond check out time which is very expensive I feel. I enquired about where you can shower and was told the pool showers at the end of the pool were the only option .We grudgingly paid the money and then later discovered that the Spa has showers that you can use and they were the best showers my family had used all week. The ones in our room had gone hot and cold all week. Somebody else pushed harder to get the information about spa showers. It felt like they wanted to take the extra money. Shame that things ended this way as overall a good experience at Flegra Palace.
