The King Jason Paphos - Designed for Adults by Louis Hotels

Loved the location. the staff were excellent, polite and genuine. A special mention goes out to Maria, front desk manager. She was humerous, and very knowledgeable of the area. She provided me with maps, and some background history of Cyprus, which i was very much appreciative for. My room was clean, The cleaning staff were very persistent in wanting to come and clean the room when we were still there, it was a little annoying, but i admired their dedication. the hotel is beautiful, Very much so an intimate setting. Definitely worth rebooking.

The king jason prides itself on its hospitality and it over achieves. All the staff are smiling, friendly and extremely professional. The whole of the hotel is clean and provides a pleasant environment. The food is of excellent quality with a wide variety of choices. There are differing themed nights which makes each evening meal a delightful surprise. The selection of deserts makes your mouth water.

.... wont be back to this hotel. This was an extra for us as we go to Turkey twice a year. On arrival at the underwhelming reception got a glass of bubbly whilst filling out the forms. Couldn't carry our cases to room 16 as no lift and up two flights, even the barman who helped was struggling! Room was big but very dated. Outlook from balcony was of the roof of reception and some wasteland. Bedroom is huge but with a tiny wardrobe. Kitchenette in lounge with table and chairs (from the self catering days) I never saw photos of this type of room on the hotels website (they only show nice new sparkly ones). We knew two things before we came, one being in a residential area and two a road nearby. I thought it would be a nice residential area but its not, very run down, broken pavements, bins everywhere. Would not recommend walking at night to go out. Now the road I thought would be a residential road is not. It is in fact a very busy dual carriageway with noise from heavy lorries, motorbikes etc all day. So the hotel boasts "an environment which is devoid of the anxiety associated with everyday life"...apart from the road noise. Its devoid of any atmosphere at all! If you are looking for a quiet time on holiday then this is the place. Practically zero entertainment. Sitting having a drink after dinner I thought I had wandered into an old peoples home! The majority of guests are older (as we are) but sitting playing cards or dominoes is not really a fun night. Anyway the positives - food is quite good for general hotel buffet style, with different themes. The Merlot and Rose were good. Branded drinks (as you would expect). Tried the Peruvian which I enjoyed but my wife hated. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Special mention to Elias who kept our glasses full. I think the hotels rating is boosted by all the 5 star reviews left by returning guests. In my opinion these guests can't have experienced other 4 star hotels which are situated in better locations and higher quality. This hotel for me is just average. Each to their own I suppose. We will be back to Paphos next November as the weather is wonderful but probably to a beach side Hotel.

Lovely welcoming hotel which was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. Food was superb with an excellent selection of dishes on offer, and the rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. Plenty of sunbeds and a relaxing deck bar with a wide range of good quality all inclusive drinks. What more could you want from a week in the sun?

We sadly had to return home from this wonderful hotel recently 🙃 from start to finish it was absolutely wonderful!! This was our 3rd visit (we do travel regularly to other destinations) and it certainly won’t be our last! All the staff are fantastic and a special mention to Thomas for arranging everything from taxis to our fabulous room!! We can’t thank all the staff enough, you are all wonderful!!!! Have just returned from the King Jason this week. I have given a 4 star if there was the function I would have rated 4.5 it is an excellent hotel. The Great We upgraded to the executive suite and the room was large and of a very good standard. Food is exceptional and a varied choice of good quality meals at all times of the day. Drinks are all branded so no cheap brands and the staff are not tight on pouring the measures The resort is spotless very clean and alot of effort goes in to making your visit enjoyable The staff are tremendous nothing is too much trouble and they seem happy and engaged in making your holiday a good one The not great Location is a little big out we knew this before so it wasn’t a surprise you are a 15 minute walk to the marina at a steady relaxed pace There is a lack of entertainment the week we were there it had 2 singers on who were “earthy” and a lack of background music does make it very quiet but the average demographic of guests is a wee bit older so maybe that works I know it is closing year end for a major refurbishment and I can say the hotel does not feel tired In summary would I go again yes but would wait for the refurb but it is a very good hotel with lots of plus points

Great holiday,staff very helpful and friendly,food amazing 🤩 Drinks plentiful,room spotless,and met wonderful people, Definitely would return in future,as you no what to expect from amazing hotel, Could not find any faults with hotel and pool areas

King Jason you excel on every visit….. Thomas you and your team are all outstanding on delivering an exceptional service. We have been to your home from home 5 times in total and I never come away disappointed. We stayed in block C this time and rooms are great standard with everything you need, clean fresh and housekeepers do an excellent job. Pool service is always friendly & welcoming. Restaurant service is also excellent and food is outstanding lots of choice fresh hot and enjoyable no matter what your food taste is always something to enjoy a meal. As we have been before it was great to see familiar staff which is a rarity but this also states they are happy within the environment of the King Jason. We had a great 5 nights and will visit again in October thanks for a great stay to you and your outstanding team. Sharon & Keith
