Ottawa Hotels with Parking

As a family of three, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, I definitely book again. Very close to shopping and highway 417. Hotel located in a very quiet area. I should thank Mr. Soheil at Reception who was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was also very good included hot/cold meals and fluits

I checked in early in the afternoon, and the front desk staff and housekeeping were incredibly kind. They explained everything about the hotel and breakfast very clearly. Making my own waffles at breakfast was a lot of fun, and the room was spacious enough to comfortably open a large suitcase, which was great. The location is also perfect – just a 10-minute walk from the station through a shopping mall, so bad weather isn't an issue. I'd definitely like to stay here again. Thank you!

I've stayed at this hotel several times now; I enjoy how clean, quiet, and nicely decorated the suites and the hotel itself are! The bathrooms are beautiful, very clean, and well-appointed, as are the rooms themselves. Very pleased and will stay here again when my travels take me through this area once more.

The location is unbeatable! Situated in the heart of downtown, it’s just a short walk to ByWard Market, the Rideau Centre, and Parliament Hill, making it the perfect base for exploring Winterlude. The stay was excellent. While the underground parking entrance is a bit tucked away on Daly Avenue, the unlimited in/out privileges are a huge plus for road trippers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. My only minor critique is the 6'6” parking height restriction, which might be tight for large SUVs. Overall, a high-quality, convenient choice for any Ottawa visit

I expected more from Glö than I received. I chose Glö as a ”treat” for a couple's getaway, as it was a newer hotel and appeared like it would be snazzier than the usual fare. Pros: The bathroom was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries are top notch. The rooms are very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the TV was a decent size. Cons: The rooms are incredibly small, and while they are nicely furnished, the tiny ”couch” seat was more form than function (i.e. prettier than it was comfortable). The front desk staff seemed very new and clueless on basic hospitality essentials, like how to work the in-room television. It also took ages for a response from front desk on how to work the TV and the issue wasn't even resolved. I probably will not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know, as there are so many hotels to choose from in Kanata that offer better, more knowledgeable service and better pricing.

Where to begin... first of all, when I made this booking, there was no mention whatsoever of HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION beginning every day at 7 a.m. Naturally upon checking in, I'm informed that there is intense construction happening right next door. And yes, it was brutal. I also SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel because there was an option to reserve now, pay at the hotel. Here are some direct quotes from my booking confirmation email: ”You'll need to pay upon check-in at Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” ”Your payment will be handled by Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” and ”Pay at Hotel.” Sure enough, I get there, and the money's already been taken out of my credit card and I owe nothing to the hotel upon check-in. (This matters for reimbursement purposes at the company I work for.) Lastly, I was told when I checked in that housekeeping would be visiting every third day -- that was fine by me. But the very first day, I come back to my room after a long day and someone's been there, replacing towels, removing the minimal garbage in there, etc., which I was not at all prepared for given that I was advised the opposite. It made me extremely uncomfortable because all of my personal effects were left throughout the room, not expecting housekeeping given that I was advised no housekeeping would be coming until the third day. I'll be honest, that creeped me out as someone travelling alone. The staff were apologetic but I didn't find their explanation at all sufficient. (The housekeeping manager and front desk attendant completely contradicted each other.) Overall, such a chaotic stay. Oh, and, the heat in my room didn't work. Had to request a space heater... I mean, c'mon.

My experience at the hotel was excellent. There was coffee shops close so that’s fine.

Great place to stay nice & clean not far from downtown . Private parking and room for 3 people was big with a big kitchen. I definitely recommend . Price is also affordable.

The location is great that is walking distance from most of the attractions. The facilities are a bit old and there is an unpleasant smell in the corridor. In general it is great given the price.
