YyatsenenokWe stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, they had issues checking us in as the booking was made through trip.com which went through *******. Somehow they figured it out later. The room was spacious, clean. They provided room services every day except for one day when they were understaffed. Shower has only half door so be ready for some splashes. I recommend bringing your own body wash (they provide soap which is hard to wash off) and shampoo. People who can't sleep with noise in the room, should consider their options. Air conditioning is super loud (like factory machine) , it constantly woke us up at night, there is no option to open a window instead. Breakfasts are always the same, not a single thing changes: fried/boiled eggs, sausages, pork?cutlets, pancakes, apples, oatmeal, bread. The dining room was always overcrowded, the space should be at least twice as big. Sometimes we came and there was no food, so we had to wait for someone to come and bring food (they don't have a person there on a regular basis). I can't say our experience was bad, but it was not great either.

KKeith KK LauLocation is away from the city Centre. Room is small after placing 2 beds. The air conditioner is so noisy. The complimentary breakfast is decent with cornflakes, eggs, yogurt and fruits. The so called swimming pool is so small and packed with kids. Plenty of free car park at the hotel beyond the remote area.

SSUI HANI checked in on a Monday. The hotel is clean and quite. Front desk staff are very friendly. With a swimming pool which opens until 10:30pm. Also provide continental breakfast. There is a small fridge, coffee maker and a microwave inside the room but surprisingly without providing a kettle. Still you can get hot water easily from the restaurant. Location is good and very close to a shopping centre/outlet. Would recommend it.

BBarryWRoom cleanliness and air conditioning were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was simple but good in quality. However the breakfast queue was long and food replenishment was not done in pace with the flow, ended up in a long queue not moving as people stayed in the front of the queue stayed in the queue waiting for replenishment. The dinning space was insufficient that could not accommodate the big crowd. We ran into issue setting up the sofa bed. Calling the front desk asking for assistance we were stunned by a reply saying they would not send staff to help but urging us to try for another attempts and kept reassuring us the sofa bed operation was simple and easy. Finally we got that sorted out with help from other hotel customers.. A major disappointment that totally ruined my experience with the hotel was the way my enquiry was handled towards an unknown charge after I checked out. In the check out bill, it was just a charge billed to my credit card without indicating what service or item I was billed for. While my family did not order or buy anything at all from the hotel and we were in a rush, I did not check the bill upon check out until 5 days later I saw it in my credit card account. I sent an email to the hotel reservation (that was the only email channel I found from the hotel home page) to enquire about the charge and no reply was received ever towards my enquiry and that's what I was hit. Although the unknown charge was refunded after another week, I did not feel good with the way they work. I frankly accept mistakes made by the front desk or the account team for incorrect bill, but I do not accept ignorance and zero communication from the backend on my enquiry. This is something the hotel should improve.

SSiu ChinRoom is in good size even for a family. There 5-6 lifts but there are always long queues for lifts there. The lifts do not seem to serve their purpose well. In the morning, the hotel controls all lifts. You can’t press Down Button for a life to come down to check out or to the car park. You have to wait till someone who comes out to where you are on a lift way up or down. Never found hotel lifts operating so weirdly 😳 After checking out, I tried to take the stairs case to go down to the car park, I couldn’t do that because a room key was required to access the staircase😖 The electric door lock for our room had been beeping most of the time. Informed hotel to fix it.

GGuest UserAmazing stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants at Byward Market. Parking available onsite. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Olivia was fantastic and checked us in and out, answered any questions we had and seemed sincerely interested when asking how we enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely book again next time we are in Ottawa.
