Amazing
MMichaelLocation is perfect. Short walk to the Mosque and easy to organise walking to all the shops. Staff are exceptional, always looking to enhance your experience. Breakfast was good with a good selection but did lack variety day in day out. Staff here are very good and are always willing to help. Downside would be the coffee machines that never seemed to be working correctly. We had a couple of maintenance issues, but staff were sent promptly and most were rectified in a good time. A tip would ask for your room to face the mall, the otherside had a lot of traffic noise which was constant.

GGuest UserA very luxurious hotel, very exquisite, close to the campus and the women's prayer.  ”I would like to thank the receptionists (Mohamed al-Qarshi and Rim al-Atibi) for their good attention and kindness to the hotel guests.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is truly unbeatable — close to major attractions, shopping areas, and plenty of dining options. The staff were exceptional throughout my stay. Everyone I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist. Check-in was smooth and fast. Housekeeping was also consistent and attentive, ensuring the room was always clean and comfortable. Overall, it’s a well-managed hotel with a great team and an ideal location. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

AAnonymous UserI booked this room for my parents who were performing their Umrah during Ramadan. They really enjoyed their 5-night stay at this hotel. One of the biggest advantages is its proximity to Al-Nabawi Mosque, which is incredibly convenient for attending prayers, especially during Ramadan. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My parents felt very much at ease throughout their entire stay. They truly appreciated their experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Medina for Umrah or a spiritual visit.

GGuest UserWe found the location was excellent very close walking distance to Masjid-e-Nabawi although bit further to walk to get to women’s prayer area. The hotel does offer shuttle buses for the women at each prayer time. The room itself was outdated the bathroom had a constant smell and is also outdated, our room was very cramped not much space to manoeuvre and not even a luggage rack to place suitcase. Considering its rated a 5* we did not get the 5* feel.

GGuest UserHonestly, I really liked everything about this hotel. What I appreciate the most is the kindness of the staff. Right from those security guards at the entrance who goes extra miles and those guys/ brothers in grey t- shirts ( not sure what they are called) they were extremely wonderful, responsive and helpful. I wish I had names but those guys take their jobs very seriously and always wearing smile on their faces even in Ramadan. The receptionist were very helpful, professional and kind too. Great atmosphere!

GGuest UserWe had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights in Madinah with our family. The nightly rate was on the expensive side, but it felt in line with other similar hotels in the area. The location is decent — it’s around a 15-minute drive to Al-Haram — but there is no shuttle service at all. On the positive side, the room and overall facilities were clean. Unfortunately, a few issues really impacted our stay. There is construction immediately behind (almost attached to) the building, and we were woken up around 7:00 AM by nonstop drilling that continued for hours. Because of the noise, we ended up leaving the hotel and staying out as much as possible during the daytime. This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The hotel should have the courtesy to clearly share this noise/construction situation at the time of booking, so guests can make an informed decision. Parking was another major challenge. The parking is very limited and the access is not easy, so if you’re traveling with a car, it can be quite difficult and stressful. Lastly, while the staff we did interact with were friendly, it was often hard to find someone when we needed assistance.

AarsheelFor what the hotels worth, it’s a really good one. The beds are super comfy, the toilets are clean and the staff are helpful. Shuttle bus is provided for all 5 prayers to the Masjid. Used uber sometimes if I had other plans, and it’s affordable. Probably the only negative thing I experienced is that the wifi can be a bit unstable inside the room. Other than that, totally worth it.

GGuest UserExceptional Service and Hospitality The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, including the lobby attendants. My family (my wife, our two children and I) arrived from the UK to Madinah early in the morning around 5:00 AM. I asked if any rooms were available and mentioned that I was willing to pay but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked at that time. I then requested the possibility of an early check-in and offered to pay any additional charges, as we were extremely tired; especially our children aged 5 and 10. The staff were very understanding and assured us they would do their best. As soon as a family room became available, they promptly cleaned and prepared it for us, allowing us to check in around 10:30 AM. When I offered to pay an extra fee for the early check-in, they kindly declined and said, “No, thank you. We’re happy to help you.” Their professionalism, kindness and hospitality made our stay truly pleasant. I sincerely appreciate their excellent service and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madinah.
