3-Star Hotels in Medina

Our family has a great stay here while performed Umrah and visited Madinah. The room is small but clean and has many amenities. Very near to nabawi mosque especially gate no 320. It's walking distance to buggy car for quba mosque and restaurant. The staff in restaurant very attentive and watch carefully every guest so they can had best experience, although not so many Asian food option. The staff in the hotel is really kind and helpful too. Feeling happy to stay here.

I was really impressed with the hotel, location and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was very clean and always had a pleasant smell all the time. Rooms were very spacious, even the bathroom was very big. Room had a safe, ironing board and tge complementary tea, coffee and water bottles, which I thought was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly, both the housekeeping and on reception. Always made you feel welcome and always offering to help. There are 4 lifts, which are quite fast but during peak times can take a while to get in and out of them. But to work around that, you just leave earier for prayers, Masjid Nabawi is less than 5 minutes away, so location was excellent and you have all eatery close by.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way I was treated at this hotel. When I arrived, there was an issue confirming my booking — despite it being fully paid in advance. Instead of helping resolve the situation quickly or showing any sense of urgency, the staff made me wait at the front desk for over two hours with no clear communication or real attempt to assist. They simply kept saying there was nothing they could do, passing the responsibility without taking any initiative. No empathy, no apology, and no basic customer service. After a long day of travel, this was the last thing I needed. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I expected much better from a hotel of this standard.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

Very nice hotel, modern and clean, great staff, comfortable and spacious room. Small downsides: problems with hot water in the shower and the distance from Masjid Ennabawi due to work in the city but the hotel provides a shuttle before and after each prayer

room is just like a picture. its an apartment with someone at lobby. its a neighborhood area. downstairs have super market and cheap food. i try to get the cheapest room i can find inside trip.com but what i get is a family room. this is around 30 min walking from masjid nabawi. its clean good. aircon is good . bath tub. bed is clean.

Everything was great, the place, the cleanliness and the communication. However, although the location is not so far from Haram, but there were so much construction work and detours which made the commuting quite hard.

I payed for a 2 room signature suite. The rooms were very small. Not enough sockets, could only open the the fridge a fraction as the bed was in the way. The safe didn’t work properly either.

The hotel is strategically located, adjacent to many major historical landmarks, and convenient for travel. The surrounding dining options are rich and varied, making it easy to experience the authentic local food culture. The overall environment is quiet and tidy, and the service is professional and thoughtful.
