Guest UserI would honestly give this hotel more than full marks if I could. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and considering the reasonable price, it offered incredible value for money.
My family booked two rooms for three nights. Before arriving, we had a rather unpleasant experience at our previous hotel where we were bitten badly by what seemed to be bed mites. As a result, we contacted this hotel before check-in and politely requested that the rooms be thoroughly cleaned and that all bed linens be changed.
From the moment we arrived, the staff showed genuine care and professionalism. They kindly asked about our situation and reassured us that both rooms had been deep cleaned. We were welcomed with cold towels, refreshing welcome drinks, and delicious desserts, which immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for.
When we entered our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised to find an air purifier already prepared for us. The rooms were spotless and impeccably clean. Everything felt fresh, and we could immediately see the effort the hotel had put into ensuring our comfort. Most importantly, every member of the staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and sincere.
The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea. While the selection is not extensive, it is more than enough for a relaxing break with a cup of tea. The kids’ playroom is conveniently located nearby, which made the experience even more enjoyable for families.
Another wonderful surprise was that the hotel treated each guest to a complimentary bowl of traditional Vietnamese noodle soup for dinner. It was delicious and became one of the highlights of our stay.
Before arriving, I was a little concerned because guests need to climb a short flight of stairs to reach the lobby. We were travelling with an elderly family member and a stroller, so I worried it might be inconvenient. However, every single time we needed assistance, the staff immediately stepped forward to help carry our luggage and stroller. Their attentiveness truly impressed us.
Since the hotel is located beside a main road, transportation could have been slightly challenging, but once again the staff went above and beyond. Whenever our Grab arrived, they would help us call the driver closer to the entrance and even hold umbrellas for us during hot weather, making it much easier and safer for our family to get in and out of the vehicle.
We stayed for three nights, and every morning the breakfast was varied, plentiful, and delicious. There was always something different to enjoy, which made breakfast something we looked forward to each day.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay. The cleanliness, thoughtful service, excellent hospitality, and attention to detail made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have had. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, especially families with children and elderly travellers.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.
This wasn’t just good service—it was genuine hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

伊尔姆河畔普法芬霍芬霍根The proprietress was very enthusiastic and helped us book a car to the airport. The car drove very well and steadily, and it was cheaper than grab! Breakfast included, optional, the location is also good, quiet in the noisy, the room is clean and big. Our room has a small balcony, and it is very comfortable to sit on the balcony at night...I am generally satisfied.

Guest UserThe location is absolutely fantastic! My Khe Beach is right across the street as soon as you step out, making it a superb spot for catching the sunrise. The hotel rooms are new, clean, and tidy, and the front desk staff are patient and meticulous. The hotel breakfast offers a good variety, and the baguette is especially delicious—highly recommend it!

Ba Nàng Công ChúaMy impression of Risemount was that it felt fresh, modern, and youthful. However, my overall experience did not fully meet my expectations. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM, but there was no greeting at the entrance. At that time, only one receptionist was assisting another guest. While I was carrying my child and two hand-carry suitcases to the counter, a female staff member from another desk kindly came over to help me with the check-in.
After checking in, I was offered a glass of ginger tea with honey. At first, the flavor felt quite strong and slightly spicy, so I thought it might contain a bit of alcohol. After asking, I understood that it was ginger tea with honey, which was a thoughtful welcome drink.
In the room, I noticed a strand of hair in the bathtub, and the showerhead in the standing shower was loose, causing water to splash outside. Together with the bathroom slippers, this made me feel a bit uncomfortable and less safe while using the bathroom. The soundproofing could also be improved, as I could still hear traffic noise and sounds from the neighboring room even with the windows and doors closed.
During the night, I was disturbed by mosquitoes and couldn’t sleep well. At around 2 AM, my daughter, who was very tired after a long day at the beach, had an accident in bed. I tried to contact housekeeping and the reception for assistance, but unfortunately, I could not reach anyone at that time. This was quite inconvenient during our stay.
In addition, although the breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, I personally felt that the presentation and overall setup could be more refined to better match the hotel’s standard.

BOKDONGWe stayed in a river view room, and as soon as we entered, we couldn't help but exclaim in awe at the panoramic view of Da Nang's Han River unfolding beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows.
**Spacious Room Size:** The room was much larger and more comfortable than typical 5-star hotels. The sophisticated separation of the bedroom and living area allowed us to relax freely without feeling cramped throughout our stay.
**Romantic Night View:** In the evening, the dazzlingly lit Han River bridges and the city nightscape were truly spectacular. Sitting by the window with my partner every evening, enjoying a cool beer while gazing at the night view, was the most romantic moment of our trip.
**2. ”No More Heat Worries!” Emotionally Evocative Indoor and Outdoor Pools 🏊♂️💙**
One of the biggest advantages of Melia Vinpearl Riverfront is that it boasts both an outdoor and an indoor pool.
**Outdoor Pool: A Photo Op Paradise:** The outdoor pool, where you can swim with the expansive Han River and Da Nang city as your backdrop, is truly a 'life shot' (Instagrammable) spot. Just lying side-by-side on sunbeds, feeling the breeze and admiring the city view, was incredibly relaxing.
**Comfortable Indoor Pool:** When the midday sun was too hot or the weather was cloudy, we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the brightly lit indoor pool. The large windows gave it a wonderfully open feel, even though it was indoors.
**3. Abundant Breakfast That Makes Every Morning Exciting 🍳🥐**
We can't forget the breakfast buffet, which we ate for three days straight without getting tired of it.
Beyond Vietnamese local dishes like pho and banh mi, there was a truly diverse selection, including a Korean food corner and various baked goods. Both of us, even with our 'picky eater' palates, were thoroughly satisfied. In particular, the warm and delicious dishes from the live cooking stations allowed us to start each day feeling full and energized.
**4. Best Location & Infrastructure for Couples on Foot 📍**
I'd also like to give high marks for its location.
**Vincom Plaza a 3-Minute Walk Away:** Having a large shopping mall right next to the hotel was fantastic. In the evenings, we could casually stroll over in slippers for some window shopping and pick up late-night snacks or souvenirs (like cookies and coffee) from the supermarket.
**Accessibility to Major Attractions:** Major tourist spots like Han Market and Dragon Bridge were easily reachable by Grab, either for a basic fare or a short ride, so we experienced almost no travel fatigue.
✨ **Overall Review & One-Line Summary**
A place that boasts all three: spacious and comfortable rooms, a mesmerizing Han River night view, and friendly service. Highly recommended for couples traveling to Da Nang!
It offered both the luxury of a 5-star hotel and excellent value for money. From the moment we stepped into the lobby until check-out, the staff greeted us with bright smiles and provided such friendly service that we truly felt pampered. If I ever visit Da Nang again, I will definitely return here without hesitation.
If you're planning a romantic trip to Da Nang with your loved one, create precious memories at Melia Vinpearl Da Nang Riverfront! 👩❤️👨

Arrival & First Impression (7/10):
Mandila Beach Hotel’s understated facade belies its prime location along Da Nang’s bustling My Khe Beach. The lobby exudes a contemporary minimalism, with natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, casting soft shadows at midday. Acoustics are well-managed, ensuring hushed conversations despite the proximity to the entrance. A refreshing lemongrass spritz upon arrival was a thoughtful touch, though the welcome ritual lacked the personal flourish one might expect at this tier.
Room / Suite Inspection (6.5/10):
Initially assigned a room marred by an unpleasant bathroom odour, the staff promptly relocated me to a smaller, albeit odour-free, alternative due to full occupancy. While the room was impeccably clean, the compromise in size detracted from the overall experience. Natural light at golden hour was enchanting, highlighting the crisp, high-thread-count linens. The duvet, weighing a comforting 12 pounds, promised restful slumber. However, storage space was limited, and the tech offerings felt slightly outdated.
Service & Staff Interactions (7.5/10):
The staff demonstrated commendable responsiveness, particularly in rectifying the initial room issue. Their attentiveness was evident, yet there were moments where interactions veered towards the procedural rather than the intuitive. A memorable instance was a staff member’s recommendation for a local hidden gem, which enriched my stay considerably.
Dining & F&B (6/10):
Breakfast was serviceable, offering a decent selection of local and international fare. However, it lacked the finesse and creativity one might anticipate in a luxury setting. The eggs Benedict, while perfectly cooked, was served with a hollandaise that bordered on bland. The bar, situated on the rooftop, provided panoramic views and a well-curated cocktail menu, though service was inconsistent.
Facilities & Amenities (7/10):
The rooftop pool, maintained at a refreshing 26°C, was a sanctuary from the city’s heat. The gym, though compact, was equipped with modern apparatus. Spa services, while pleasant, did not quite reach the transformative heights expected. The hotel’s gardens, lush and meticulously maintained, offered a tranquil escape.
Location & Context (8/10):
Situated directly on My Khe Beach, Mandila Beach Hotel offers unparalleled access to the sand and sea. The neighborhood, a blend of local charm and tourist amenities, provides a genuine taste of Da Nang. However, the proximity to a busy road occasionally intrudes on the otherwise serene environment.
Value Perception & Any Standout / Disappointing Elements (6.5/10):
While the hotel offers a comfortable stay, certain elements fall short of justifying its premium pricing. The inconsistency in room size and service detracts from the overall value. Nonetheless, the location and rooftop amenities are commendable.
Final Verdict + Score (7.0/10):
Mandila Beach Hotel delivers a competent luxury experience, though it is marred by notable inconsistencies. It is a solid choice for travellers prioritising location and comfort, though those seeking a seamless, opulent stay may find better alternatives nearby.
Who it’s for: Couples and solo travellers seeking a beachfront retreat in Da Nang. I would not return but might recommend the Anantara Hoi An Resort for a more consistently luxurious experience.

Ruan Ming Jun (The Good King)
The hotel looks good at first glance – the view is beautiful, the room is spacious and nicely decorated. On the surface, it feels like a quality stay.
But that’s where the positives end. The amenities inside the room are very basic, and honestly feel cheap compared to the standard of the room. Considering the price (which is not cheap at all), the overall impression is underwhelming.
Breakfast was a complete disaster – poor quality, lack of variety, and far below the standard expected from a hotel of this level. It left a really bad taste for the rest of the stay.
On top of that, the front desk staff were not friendly. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them every time I approached. Hospitality is supposed to be about warmth and service, but this hotel failed badly in that regard.
Verdict: Beautiful view and spacious room cannot make up for the poor service, terrible breakfast, and disappointing amenities. Definitely not worth the price. I would not stay here again.
