Pleasantly surprised. I had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. The beds were highly comfortable, and everything exceeded my expectations. The housekeeping staff did a great job and were very friendly and professional, as were the front desk staff. 5 stars from me.

Whilst the room is clean and functional, the hotel was a nightmare for connectivity which is non-existent. Additionally of the two lifts that lead up, only one is functional which means significant delays if you run into a massive crowd of guests checking in like I did.

Hotel room was big and clean. Breakfast buffet was great but was the same everyday.

Overall a normal hotel. Location is great. Walls are not soundproof, the sound of the lift and the noise from occupants could be heard clearly and loudly. Also it would be great if they were to provide toothbrush and toothpaste, and toilet with bidets. Housekeeping department did a great job in ensuring the cleanliness of the room.

Good central location. Building is a bit run down with multiple maintenance issues during our visit.

My family and I are staying in BnB, but my 10 A years old boy requested to stay in the hotel. It was not easy to find a decent hotel in a reasonable price in a short period of time. However, Mercure Hotel answered all the doubts so we stayed two nights. Great location, and service and is excellent for family holidays. The staff are friendly, the room is spacious and perfect for a family. My two kids love the hotel. The location is very accessible and within walking distance. My son enjoyed the pool and walking at nearby shops. Recommended for families, couples or single. We will definitely come back on the next term break. My son loves it.

Super hotel in a great location. Lovely rooftop pool. Breakfast slightly mediocre but that was the only negative. Large room with all expected amenities.

I stayed there only half night after my late arrival flight, checked in during midnight at 2am and check out at 10am for the road trip heading north. We went there by family trip traveling with my sister and kids, book 2 rooms in total and i’m their accor elite member, although i didn’t book the room through their website and booked through trip.com instead, the receptionist still offer member benefits - welcome drinks voucher to my whole family and arranged our room next to each other which is quite helpful! The hotel is located in perfect city centre location, looks a bit old in some part even after renovation, but the room are spacious, good for the kids to walk! The only one thing i dislike was that the wall seems too thin and it is not soundproofed, i can hear the noise from the other room clearly, my whole family didn’t sleep too well by this.

Huge space than other hotel around CBD, worth the stay!

Strategically located in the CBD of Perth with attractive price and reasonable facilities.

Toilet door very difficult to open once closed literally have to kick from outside to open.Almost non existent wifi.Eventhough fully paid online still required 500 deposit.staff are helpful & hot water for shower supply was good.

We were transferred by Trip from Metro South Perth to Mercure Irwin St due to misinformation on the room type offered as well as the lack of sincerity and service from Metro's reception. I wish I can leave a review for Metro to give others an insight but I guess you have to read from Google Map Reviews. Reception at Mercure is direct, fast, no pleasantries, no fuss. I thought they might miss out my request on the crib but it was there sitting in the room when we returned after dinner. Bathroom is downright old, shower is in the bathtub, everywhere is curved, the tub, the edges, the handles, not the friendliest for those young and old, but it serves its purpose. Tap at the sink is at the weirdest diagonal position. Carpet floor in the room isn't the cleanest but my sensitive nose did not have a sneezing episode while i repack 5 luggages on it so it seems good enough. No netflix, just local channels on tele.

We had 2 rooms as we went as 3 adults and 2 children. We stayed for 4 nights. The first 2 nights the rooms were freezing and even though i had requested a second blanket it was cold. I was told that they have central heating that they were only turning on the next day. After that the temperature was better but i don't understand what the point of an in-room thermostat was. The breakfast buffet was ok. However, there was no other food in the hotel except for a small pasta restaurant. While the food there was good, you couldn't have it every night so we had to look elsewhere for food choices. I think the hotel is ok if you're travelling for work and don't spend much time in the hotel. Parking is also not available unless you want to spend $45 per night on valet parking so it really is not conducive for families as such.
