"We really enjoyed the hotel. We stayed in Fenghuang for one night. We took the room with balcony and the view was very nice! Just next the the entrance of the old town and far from the noisy streets.
However, being on the river, you get anyway noise from nearby places until midnight. Depending on how tired you are It can affect you differently, but the river view is really nice. I took a sunrise picture.
These days they are doing street works just on the other side of the hotel, in front of the entrance, but the noise didn't get to the room."

Fenghuang ancient city is a amazing, nice place. However, taking taxi is a bad experience. If your group is more than 2 persons, recommend to taking city bus directly without delay.
The hotel staff met us at the bus station and fetch us to hotel. Location was very convenient as it's near to the Hongqiao Bridge.
Our room for 4 persons is small as we have 4 large luggages and not much walkway.
The room was comfortable, and had a fantastic balcony with amazing view.

"My stay was amazing, the hotel is outstanding . The staffs are very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you don’t speak Chinese or you are new to Chinese culture, the staffs can help you with everything . They texted me me in advance , organized a car to pick me up from the train station , helped me navigate through the city , carried my luggage upstairs and downstairs and all the way to the taxi . Very friendly atmosphere , very nice people and these details made my trip enjoyable, especially if you are a solo traveler or someone with heavy luggage these things matter a lot . The location was so good , it’s not far from the city center just 10 min walk but it’s very quite at night and in the morning if you want to relax after a hectic day .
The room is clean , the bedsheets are very clean and everything is tidy , they even have an iron , they have big mirrors and everything you need . The breakfast was delicious. I had it in the terrace with a beautiful view , they also helped me order dinner , the tofu is a must . Highly recommend this place , it’s close to the main road where taxi usually drops off and picks up , probably 4 min walking and also very close to the main attractions ."

"The hotel room was very clean and very cozy. The staff offered pick up and drop off att railway station. Everything was good except one big thing, the breakfast. We were led to a restaurant close by and were expecting to eat a proper breakfast. Little did we know that we had a maximum of 15 yuan each to spend for eating breakfast, and this was not informed anywhere so the owner of the restaurant wanted us to pay for eating a couple of eggs some bread and some dumpling, considering he was the one serving us he didn't indicate prices for every item he was adding in advance. This was really frustrating moment cause after a good sleep you want a normal breakfast that supposedly was included. No drinks, no Coffey.
For the breakfast experience alone I would rate 0/5"

"Love everything about the hotel! Staffs are very friendly. You can ask them for recommendations and they are willing to help(ask for their wechat!). The room was clean and have good view of the river. At night you can see the show from your room window. The location is convenient for walking to different places. The room have everything you need even a mini washing machine and a heated hanger!! There is a bathtub in the room too. Just the entrance that you have to lift your luggage up the stairs."

"The staff were great at this hotel! They were waiting for us at the taxi drop off point, and helped carry our heavy luggage. They were so friendly and helpful, giving advice for the local area, offering hot milk in the evening and organising our taxi on departure.
The hotel room was also great! The room was spacious, thanks to a free upgrade. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were fantastic!
The balcony view was amazing. The location is a little further from the main area, but it is a nice stroll to get there after always eating too much. Thanks so much for a great stay, would recommend and stay again ."

"Great hotel! Would definitely recommend to friends and family! The staff was very helpful and the location is perfect as it was in a quiet part of town but only a few minutes walk to the riverside.

"The hotel is located upstream of the ancient city, 1.5 kilometers away from the ancient city. It is quiet enough. The room is quite large, with a bathtub and a smart toilet, but the toilet door is too close to the cabinet and cannot be fully opened. The breakfast is also relatively simple. I don’t know if it is because of the off-season. The best thing is the service. The hotel has a special car to send to the ancient city gate. "We organised a family trip to Fenghuang not knowing what to expect on the stays. Qianxun Yunjing Zen River Hotel surprised us. We initially booked a family suite room, but after seeing the big heavy luggages we are carrying, the owner upgraded our room to have easier access. Room was beautiful and clean. Design was minimalistic and classy.
Staff was also kind and helpful, was able to communicate with them using translator app as our mandarin is not the best. We were picked up from fenghuang gucheng train station and ride was smooth and quick.
Not to mention the amazing view at the front located in the heart of Fenghuang, I will book this hotel again when I come back."

GGuest UserNewly renovated, spacious rooms, meticulous service and attention to all details by the young bosses. Sit by the windows to enjoy views of garden with a cup of coffee. Bosses offer recommendations of restaurants, routes to walk the town, when & where to go for views & pictures etc… breakfast was individually prepared, yogurt sent to our rooms before we go to bed… they added a lamp for me in the garden and a glass of hot water while I was enjoying the chill air and tranquil atmosphere of the garden. Premise is 2 min away from river, conveniently located. Opportunity to put on 苗服 and play with their pets in the premises for free was an exceptional experience. Boss not only navigated for us a more cost and time efficient way to get to the airport, he also help book a cab and sent us off. To be exact, from the moment we arrived at the bridge (cab driver can already tell he was the one coming to pick us from the hostel) till he sent us off, they pay attention to every single detail that they could. Highly recommended hostel, book early to avoid disappointment (limited rooms available). Will definitely visit again

Facilities: Very complete. The bathroom actually has a bathtub. The bathtub is also very large, but there is no plug. The boss also provided a disposable bathtub cover. The toilet is a smart toilet, and a warm toilet board is very important in winter! I saw some comments saying that there was air leakage from the door crack, but I thought it was okay. The room was not very cold, the heating was OK, and the boss even laid out an electric blanket. It's really great.
Hygiene: very clean

Service: Very attentive. The boss helped us carry our luggage and showed us free parking nearby, which was great.

Cleanliness is ok, the shower a bit moldy. The bed is weirdly shaped (round?) but bog enough for two people.
The balcony is amazing. But it seems that almost all hotels have the same concept of balconies.
Front desk does not speak english, but with translation it is manageable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in the ancient city. We were on the top floor and could see the streets and alleys of the ancient city. It was very close to the parking lot and the river. The room was of good quality, spacious and clean. The boss took us to a cooperative breakfast shop for breakfast. We had authentic Hunan rice noodles. It was a good experience. I will come again next time.

GGuest UserThe room I booked temporarily was browsed online and felt good, so I placed the order directly. Before I arrived in the ancient city, the store contacted me and provided a pick-up station. After getting off the high-speed train, the driver sent me directly to the downstairs of the homestay. The store owner also came out to greet me and helped me carry my luggage. I felt particularly good when I arrived at the store. The whole style is very exquisite, the room is also very clean, and you can take a panoramic view of the ancient city on the roof. It is so beautiful. I didn't step on the thunder. Five-star praise

GGuijiliaoI really have to give it a five-star rating. I always bring my own sleeping bag every time I stay at this B&B, but this B&B is really clean, and the quilt is dry, soft and very comfortable. I came here for the balcony overlooking the river, and the location is really good, right in the center of Tuojiang River! It was a little rainy during the day, so I stayed on the balcony to enjoy the river view. At night, I lay down to watch the bamboo raft performance on the river. It was so comfortable~ The brother of the B&B is also cute. He will recommend all the food, drinks and entertainment to you as soon as he comes on WeChat. Hahahaha, the most important thing is that you can order takeout~ I have definitely collected it. If I were in the next city, looking at the house price, it would be comfortable to come here anytime for the weekend~

EEatPrayTravelPros: very quick in addressing issues. One day there was no hot water and the hotel responded in a very short time and remedied the problem. Also hotel did a courtesy drop off to a local bus station, which was greatly appreciated. It was an uphill climb and would have been a challenge with luggage. Hotel location was quiet. Heating, water pressure and hot water all very good. Hotel staff also gave us a restaurant recommendation which was very good. Breakfast was good.
Cons: don’t be fooled by the description of 180 degree view of the river. It has two buildings on both sides blocking the view, as we found out after checking in. The walk to the ancient village is about 10 minutes from the Hotel, and longer on the way back because there is a bit of uphill climb.

SsuttimasGreat location. We took a taxi from high speed train station, it cost only 22.5 CNY, taxi stopped in front of the hotel. Further more, the hotel located near the river and main attractions within few minutes walk and far enough from noise.The hotel room was very clean with comfy bed. The owner was very nice and helpful ,she tried to help us to buy train tickets which we could not buy online. Thanks.
