JJade TallowinWe had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road.
I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too.
Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

CClareMy friend and I had a 3-night stay in this homestay and we enjoyed every single moment!
It is nestled quietly on the foot of a hill with bamboo forest, tranquil and peaceful. The lady owner deliberately designed and built the 3-story house, every corner showing her unique taste. Loved the little garden and playful pets, especially the 4-month-old baby cat.
The room was quiet and spacious with a high ceiling and a lovely bamboo hill view that I can't imagine to have back in Singapore, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed so much staying in the room. The owners were chatty and very friendly, making our stay very enjoyable. And a big thumb-up to lady owner's cooking.
It was a wonderful and memorable time staying in the homestay. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

DD1551****I went out to play with my friends. Because it was raining in Shanghai, I decided to go to Moganshan for one night and chose a homestay at will, but the stay was unexpectedly good.
We drove there by ourselves. There is a parking lot downstairs and a charging pile. The parking lot is a public entertainment space of B1, with chess and cards, board games, billiards, and karaoke. There is also a Samoyed at the door, very close relatives, and I will be very excited to see someone come and bark.
We have four people in a group, living in the loft on the third floor, two 2-meter beds upstairs and downstairs, very spacious and very soft, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. There is also an oversized terrace upstairs, there are tables and chairs outside to sit and blow the hair, and there is a large private soup pool to soak. The whole room was very clean and the facilities looked very new.
There are camping tables and chairs outside the homestay, and there is a swimming pool, but we didn't use it.
The homestay is operated by the owner and his family. The family is very friendly, and there is always a smile on his face. Any needs will be met as much as possible. The next day's breakfast was handled by the boss's mother. There were not many types. The aunt told us that there were noodles, small wontons and dumplings. We all had 3 of them. I ate the dumplings that my aunt had wrapped. It was too fresh and delicious. A bowl of food was still not finished, but I was not embarrassed to ask for it again. When I finally left, the boss also sent us a few packages of souvenirs, thank you very much.
We were very satisfied with this homestay this time. Unfortunately, we went late that day. The next day we woke up and had breakfast and left. I felt that I had not had a good time. I said that I would come back to live here next time. Come early and play for a while.

TTinatilaFrankly speaking, the B&B is not bad, the facilities are relatively new, the free breakfast is provided, and it is stated that it will end at 9:30 at the latest, and the aunt who cooks and cleans is very kind. You can make reservations for lunch and dinner by calling in advance. If you don't have a reservation, you have to pay for yourself. It is inconvenient to eat nearby because it is relatively remote. There are several small restaurants run by rural residents. For those with dietary requirements, the price is slightly higher, mainly because the conditions are slightly worse. You can order takeout, but there are not many choices and the delivery fee is very high. Most of them are lobster barbecue. We drove ten or twenty kilometers to find a lively place to eat. For B&Bs, there will be more mosquitoes in summer. This is understandable. After all, it is summer in mountainous areas. This is a normal phenomenon. It was already the end of summer vacation and it was a working day. We were the only ones on that day. It was very comfortable and we had exclusive access to the swimming pool, KTV, and game consoles. The housekeeper is a boy, younger and less talkative. Although he is not good at talking, you can talk to him about any problem and he will solve it immediately. Generally speaking, if you want to rest comfortably and comfortably, this place is quite good. If you want to be lively and have fun, it is relatively remote for a single family to come out to play. We like this kind of quiet and undisturbed play by ourselves, so feel pretty good. It is more suitable for driving out during the day and coming back to play in the water and stay overnight. This place is still more suitable for team building activities. It is lively when more people play together.

WWangmintingThis hotel is truly beautiful and one of the larger establishments in Moganshan. I particularly loved the lobby and restaurant – they were incredibly lush and green! I rarely see lobbies and restaurants with such abundant greenery and flowers. It felt very chic and fresh, even more photogenic than many of the trendy cafes in Moganshan. Our room was spacious, and we were upgraded to the 'Prague' room. I do have a couple of suggestions: the bed frame was wider than the mattress, and I kept bumping my shins on it, which was painful. Also, the shower only had a rain shower head. The water pressure was great, but it was impossible to rinse off soap suds that splattered further away on the floor, so you'd end up stepping in bubbles when you got out. Finally, the toilet door wasn't fully sealed, which is a bit of an issue if you need privacy.

GGuest UserDuring the Qingming Festival, I came to Moganshan with my friends and chose this homestay, which was great.
Location: The homestay is located in the Republic of China villa complex, very close to where Chairman Mao stayed. The car was parked in the Queen Hotel parking lot, and it was a short walk away. It was very convenient to drive up.
Landscape: We lived in the old villa parent-child room. The room was spacious, and there was a beautiful mountain view outside the floor-to-ceiling window. The view was great, but the sound insulation was a bit poor. You could hear the sound of flushing the toilet upstairs at night, but after all, it was a villa in the Republic of China, and the flaws did not cover the merits. My friend lived in the parent-child room in the second building, which also had a good view and a small terrace. The children went in and out and had a lot of fun.
Dining: We arrived at noon and had lunch at the homestay. The food tasted unexpectedly good. I had chicken soup and fried bamboo shoots 3 times in Moganshan. His taste was the best. Thanks to the cooking aunt. The breakfast was very exquisite. Although there were not many varieties, it was delicious.
Service: The owner of the homestay was an elegant and enthusiastic lady. She always smiled and chatted with everyone and responded to our requests. The lady at the front desk and other staff were also very nice.
Highlights: The B&B is pet-friendly. We brought our dog Baozi and met two other furry kids. In the morning, I took the big dog for a run in the yard. It was so happy and comfortable.
During the short holiday, Mogan Mountain was crowded with people. It was very comfortable to sit and drink tea in this quiet and beautiful courtyard. If you get up early the next day and walk around before the big group going up the mountain arrives, you will feel like you have contracted the entire mountain. The sense of superiority is overwhelming. Next time you come to Mogan Mountain, you will stay here again

RricebirdWe randomly searched for guesthouses on Ctrip that met our needs. This guesthouse was perfect – not far from our dinner spot in Yu Ying Fang, Huzhou, and nestled amidst beautiful mountains and clear waters. We stayed in a family room, suitable for families of up to 5 people or groups of up to 3. The bedding deserves special praise; it wasn't sticky or musty, the sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases were dry, comfortable, and breathable. The mattress was also just the right firmness, which is especially important. An added bonus is its location in Wusi Village, a picturesque village where you can stroll and appreciate the beauty of nature at a peaceful and relaxing pace.

GGuest UserThis is definitely a guesthouse I'll be returning to. It's incredibly pet-friendly; I forgot dog food and pee pads, and the front desk provided them for me. Since it was off-season, they upgraded my room. The room was huge, beautifully designed, and felt very secure, plus it had a large, comfortable balcony.
I'd seen reviews saying the pool water was dirty and the playground slide was broken, but I found that wasn't the case at all. The pool water was very clean, just had a few fallen leaves. The playground slide was quite fun, and the tire for the slide was new, not broken. You can even bring your dog to play there.
There are bicycles and electric scooters available at the guesthouse entrance. Riding around was quite enjoyable. It's also very convenient for dining and exploring nearby areas, with Yu Village just a 10-15 minute drive away. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant. We arrived in the afternoon when the chef was sleeping, but they specially woke him up to make us noodles. The service is truly exceptional.
