City Lodge Hotel

This place looked clean at first, then upon check in there was a roach on the remote control. I thought no big deal then all of a sudden I was seeing roaches everywhere. They came and sprayed but that did nothing could have done that, then the AC was dripping water a lot. Someone came in our room and took the fitted sheet and one pillowcase. There's a 24/7 reception and we noticed that no one was watching the cameras. Then the staff asked me What am I doing as I was picking up my Grab orders and I was like why are they asking me that for? It's not the hotels business to be asking personal invasive questions like that. One minute they act friendly the next minute they don't speak to you. They get a big fat red F.

Everything was all ok bed comfortable aircon good lovely shower staff friendly. And very quiet central to everything

The hotel is right in heart of the city and very near to all the interesting places

Budget hotel in the center of Phnom Penh. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good. Surrounded by market, food vendors and mart. You can access to most locations by Tuk Tuk. There is elevator in the building. The room is a bit small, but it is okay for me to stay alone. Hotel could be improve abit in term of smell inside the room. Probably they can spray something to make it smell fresh. Every room has Woden curtains, it doesn’t fully close. So if you are sensitive to the light during sleeping, you might find it so bright. It was good if they can make the curtain fully close because I sometimes find it weird and feel like someone can see me from an outside. Overall it is good

This was the worst hotel we have stayed at. We checked and got to our room and our sheets were so dirty we had to ask them to change them. And then the sink didn’t drain at all, so that was another thing. However, it didn’t end there, we got back from a day out to a huge water puddle all over the floor by the bed which soaked through my bag, my kindle, passport and personal journal. When asked to talk to a manger staff said they had gone home and we were checking out too early the next morning to talk to them. I’m extremely upset about my wet belongings and it didn’t help that the room was dirty and moldy in the bathroom.
