This Agriturismo is situated around 15min from Pienza. We stayed at the 2 bedrooms apar**ent which is very spacious for 4 of us. The owner, Mr Vilmo Barbi gave us wine and lots of food and milk for breakfast, we couldn't even finish them since it's too much. On the last day he showed us his other villas with the breathtaking view! The best one is the villa with terrace. I regret for not staying at that villa, though it's only have 1 bedroom but the sofabed in the living room could have another 2 person, and the living room is so spacious also. We will definitely come back later! Val d'orcia is still very beautiful during winter time, weather was just perfect, not too cold, around 10-15C. We enjoyed every second we stayed there.

Fantastic location a short drive away from places like Pienza, Monticchiello, and Montepulciano. Accommodations are spacious and necessities are provided. Breathtaking view of the rolling Tuscan countryside with Pienza cresting in the horizon. Vilmo is a very welcoming host; he'll make you feel comfortable and at home. He provides excellent recommendations of what to see in the surrounding area, as well as some history of the region. Already looking forward to returning.

We slept in the appar**ent attached to the owner house. It is very very old-fashioned. The furniture is basic, without charm. There is no dishwasher. The wifi is very weak. So is the the electrical network : fuses have blown when we used the washing machine. And it is VERY NOISY. You can hear all the noises from the owner house. And he is noisy. He decided for instance to run a washing machine at 23:30... One more point : the "tuscany breakfast" is a joke. Only industrial products (I join a photo). At last, the owner is not really friendly. He doesn't seem to care about the well-being of his customers. We wanted to leave but we paid before meeting him. We paid 90 euros by night, and it's really not worth the money

We loved everyinute here. A mixture of quiet days and bustling farm activity going on around us. Vilmo the owner was fantastic enthusiastic, friendly and informative. His recommendations for wine tasting and restaurants made for unforgettable experiences. We ate plums from the trees, watched them harvest spelt, watched unrivalled sunsets, and relaxed totally. Vilmo stocked the refrigerator so we wanted for nothing. This place.ia ideal to get away and cook or picnic for yourself, or venture out to surrounding towns for true gastronomic delights. Thank you Vilmo. Your place is magical!

This place is one of our favorite travel spots so far. It offers a real Tuscan experience, with an amazing Tuscan landscape and scenery. Above all that, Vilmo is super nice and he was on top of the communication game. He walked us through the facility, things and spots to visits in the area, and has loaded the fridge and kitchen with all food basics and all what you would need for a great breakfast from the property's beautiful patio. We loved the place, and we wished if we spent more time there. We will definitely come back!

We stayed for the weekend for a wedding but would definitely be returning for a full holiday in the future if we get the opportunity. The accommodation was perfect for us, with cooking facilities in the apar**ent and shops nearby for food. Plenty of food for breakfast was also provided for us. Set on a beautiful farm the location is also ideal for a relaxing time away. Highly recommended.

Barbi property provides an apar**ent full of great amenities. He even prepared raw eggs we can cook. The unit is cozy, sunny yet private. Vilmo started heating for us in case we feel a bit chilly. The property is to the southeast of Pienza with a panoramic view towards the city and the vast open and hilly Val d’Orcia area. He explained in detail where to find the best view and photo points around, and he recommended hearty restaurants and wine tasting villas. Overall, we enjoyed staying at the Barbi’s and would want to come back again.

Amazing agriturismo. Make sure you book the apar**ent with the private terrace, you’ll be admiring one of the best views over the Val D’Orcia. Pienza is perched on the hill in front of you, and you have amazing sunset views. Vilmo Barbi, the owner, is incredibly helpful in giving you suggestions for your stay. The room is fully equipped (the best part was discovering a stack of playing cards!) with all necessary amenities. Monticchiello is about 2km from the agriturismo, and is a jewel of a hamlet. Would definitely love to come back!
