It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it. We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉. Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill. We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

Myself, my partner and my 2 children (4 and 1) have just spent a week at Gran Oasis and couldn’t recommend enough! The hotel is amazing for children, so much for them to do. Marina, the lifeguard from the aqua splash park, was absolutely lovely. She played with the children and was so so kind to them. We will miss her! We were all inclusive - food was good, each night was themed and plenty to choose from. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. The downside was the rooms have marble stairs and were a major hazard, particularly for our 1 year old. Hotel a fair walk from the beach but the hotel do provide a shuttle (although we didn’t use). Would recommend the hotel as a whole!

This was our first time at this resort and we were very impressed. The place was spotless all round. The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels supplied every day. The staff were all really friendly from the reception to the bars and restaurant. It has one large and two smaller pools in a lovely setting - see photos. We were all inclusive and there was a good choice of drinks and snacks. There was a good variety of salads and well cooked food at all the main meals but as with all - all inclusive - resorts it can be a bit repetitive. Labelling of food was good but take care if you have allergies as some symbols don't mean th4e same as here. E.g. the wheat symbol means there is wheat in them and does not mean wheat free. The rooms are all, I believe, on two levels with two balconies, two televisions and a kitchen that has a fridge freezer, a microwave and hotplate My only slight negatives are that the place is quite far from the sea front - a taxi is around 8 euros each way. Secondly I don't think it is suitable for wheelchair users or people who have mobility issues. There are ramps that alloy you to get around but to access the rooms there are steps and many steps inside the apartments.

A wonderful place to go. Fantastic food and drink. Great facilities and really good customer care. The whole complex is very clean, which is important to us. Carlos and all the staff, thank you again. We are missing Gran Oasis already. Book, you won’t regret!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. We just got back from a 13 night All Inclusive holiday here and we really enjoyed it. FOOD AND DRINK: The restaurant was incredible. Every few days, they had a carvery and every day had a theme for dinner. For example, when we went they had Canarian, Italian, Volcanic, BBQ, Asian Mexican & Spanish. I have coeliac disease which means that I can’t eat anything with gluten, and the staff really took care of my needs. There were signs for all of the different food options, and they all had labels for what allergens were in each food. It didn’t include may contain, but if you ask a member of staff to say what is free from the allergen you can’t eat, they will show you around and tell you as well. There were a couple of people who were especially kind and friendly to me. Their names are Vera, Ana, Javier, Luis, and one of the chefs, Miguel. On our last 3 nights at the hotel, Miguel made me special desserts. They had multiple gluten free options every day, and when they didn’t have as many, they made me gluten free pasta with a sauce, and they also offered to make gluten free pizza. You need to ask for special GF items in advance and they will write it down and remember to make it for you when you come. Breakfast was really enjoyable, too! If you ask for extra gluten free food at breakfast, every day they give you a gluten free bread roll, a soya yoghurt, which is also vegan, a muffin, gluten free crepes and Schar biscuits. They also had lots of good options at lunch. Overall, this restaurant is one of the best hotel restaurants I have been to. They have a large selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The bar staff were very polite and friendly. There is a good Snack Bar open through the day and drinks on tap. STAFF: As well as the restaurant staff, the cleaners, bar staff, animation team and the receptionists were all really polite and friendly to us. I cannot praise them enough! They work very hard and will do anything they can to make your holiday special. One of the receptionists, Alfredo, was especially kind and helpful to us. ROOM: The room was really nice. It had a kitchen with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, cooking tools, cutlery, plates, etc. It was a two floor apartment, with upstairs being a living room, but they can also make it up with 2 extra beds, a TV, a balcony, and a light on the balcony so you can sit outside at night too. Downstairs had the main bedroom, another TV, another balcony with comfy seats, and the bathroom. No bath, but there is a lovely shower. The hotel doesn’t have many lifts, but they have stairs and steep ramps, so if you have mobility problems, it would be helpful if you ask for a lower level room. POOL: The hotel had three pools. A small pool for infants and young children, a pool for playing in, that has a slightly shallower section, and the deep main pool. They also have a new splash pool for kids under 12 years old. Every week, they have a foam party, in the

Love this place, it’s great for families, great for children. Very very clean, staff are all great, facilities are great. The all inclusive is great, good variety of food with a different theme every night. Two bars both open till 11pm. 3 pools with a splash zone for the kids. Really would recommend it…..BUT The hotel has a policy of no reserving sunbeds with towels, if you do, your towels will be removed. Absolute nonsense. If you’re not down by 07.00 you will not get a sunbed on the sunny side of the pool at all. The staff don’t care at all about this. Why have a policy in place and not adhere to it. As people realise this is the case it gets earlier every day. This definitely should NOT be allowed as people come down with children etc at 8, 8.30 etc once they get their children dressed and sorted and there are no sunbeds left on the sunny side.

Excellent resort, staff friendly, all areas spotlessly clean. Food great and a good selection. Check in and checking out of the resort was nice and easy. WiFi really good all around the resort. The only thing we could find to criticise really would be the sun loungers, some have seen better days and it would be nice if they folded flat. Having said that it did not stop us having a relaxing break.

What can I say, this place is our home from home, if we want a 5 day get away, then nothing better, than jumping on plane and heading to this place. Staff and Food always excellent, Drinks always good (although, I do think the self-serve at the pool bar should open earlier (9:30 Instead of 11am)
