Hotel Peninsula

Pick up at the airport for free after contacting the hotel in advance. The hotel is on a branch road in the center of the main street. It is about 3-4 minutes to the main street, which is very convenient and quiet. The hotel environment is elegant, clean and tidy, and the staff are very kind. The rooms are comfortable and tidy, and also have a small balcony to view the clothes and dry. There is a domestic 2-eye socket, there is an electric kettle, the water is large and hot, and the bath is very comfortable. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped to contact the next hotel to pick me up at the station and was very satisfied. The only regret is that the boss was called to the station one night in advance and the boss checked in and said nothing. When tipping the driver after being delivered to the station the next day, the driver said that the boss asked him to charge Rs. 300, which did not look like lying. It is also normal to charge, but it should be said in advance, and it can be uncomfortable to say that it cannot be sent later.
Heritage Hotel Suites and Spa

Our stay at the Heritage Hotel was a wonderful experience for us. The Heritage is full of charm and history. The hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Pokhara, but in a quiet street about a minutes walk away from the main street. The staff went out of their way to look after us and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was really good with quite a wide choice, including a full English b/f! And the dining area itself was lovely. Our room had a lovely view of the interior grounds of the hotel, and the room colours were very relaxing. When we had to leave very early on our departure day the staff arranged to have our breakfast neatly packed in convenient take-away containers so we were able to eat it later that morning in comfort when we stopped on our way back to Kathmandu. What great service - totally unexpected but really appreciated! We highly recommend this hotel. And we will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Pokhara.
Hotel Karuna

Yesterday May 14 late night, we came from Varanasi India with family, the mode used by us was our car and driver. Normally like any Three star hotel we expect them to have at least some kind of room for drivers to sleep at night none was available will be coming back later on this. After that the room provided to us was one without any view and windows were overlooking other Hotel Rooms completely if you get the wrong room like mine. Else good but with very low height balcony take care of your child do check that. 0 Star They don’t have lift in the hotel so take care if you are a having health issue I got room on 3rd floor my friend suffering with osteoarthritis had to walk slowly on stairs and took painkillers. They do not even bothering to call us our email us unlike other hotels which we visited earlier enquiring if we need special care like my friend They don’t have restaurant which can serve you food except complementary breakfast which they serve in morning. If like me you travelled from far of distance and reach late at night you will go hungry. Thankfully we stopped and took our dinner before while coming to Hotel Karuna on first day and on second day i asked 🙂. I am fine with all taking care nature which is our moral responsibility but it’s also important that management takes care of basic soft skills, and be humane especially with non Nepali guests. I would share few things Refer to earlier comments coming back to that firstly on day one we requested to the reception guy that do you have any room for drivers like what we normally get in India, here they don’t have such facility on day on after intense requesting for 45 mins reception guy agreed with us that he would let the driver sleep downstairs in lobby. Second day rather than saying anything with us nor anybody informing the same guy said he can’t let the driver stay but after again another 45 mins of intense requesting he told us that he would let him stay after paying ₹ 500/- per day which was really weird. He told us that yesterday night he was not able sleep as he was afraid of theft. As if the driver was thief we were shocked. Don’t know what say on inquiring he said owner is Canadian national than said Nepali national don’t know what to say. We tried taking the photo of the guy he was afraid to his core. Giving justification that his boss has seen the cctv and reprimanded him. Is that was the case someone would have definitely spoken with us. We booked this hotel after checking out reviews on tripadvisor but whole experience and bad customer service left us with bad memories of Pokhara in the end. Book this hotel after careful consideration

New, comfortable and modern hotel in a perfect location. The location of the hotel is perfect! Quietly located and only a 4 minute walk to the lake and center. 10 minutes by taxi to the airport. The room and bathroom were very good according to the price category. The room furnishings were comfortable and appropriate. Very clean bathroom with hot shower, enough towels, toilet paper, soap and shower gel. Thorough room cleaning in which the used bathroom items were also replenished. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and helpful. I would without a doubt recommend the hotel and book it if I visit Pokhara again.

For the price range of this hotel, it is probably the best value you will find in Pokhara. The owner is on-site most of the days, overseeing the smooth operation of this place. Probably the highlight is the rooftop restaurant for breakfast with its view of both the lake and surrounding mountains. Everything was spotless (the rooms, hall ways, restaurant, reception). The internet was the best we found outside of Kathmandu. There is a wide variety of rooms: some overlook the street, others open on to the breezeway between buildings and therefore don't have views, a few look out over the lake. If you want a lake view room, book early and expect to pay a little extra. We always had hot water for showers (many hotels only have solar heating which is unreliable). Excursions can be arranged at competitive pricing so you don't have to shop around for a travel agent. There are a few night clubs in this part of Pokhara so you do hear music until around 11pm, then things quiet down. Currently, the owner is expanding the hotel so there is construction noise during the day but it doesn't start until about 9am. It is anticipated that construction will be completed by the fall of 2022. There is security personnel on duty at night. To recap, the hotel is very clean, well run, helpful staff, good internet, safe and a great value.
