We stayed at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof for 3 days in September and we loved it. Beautiful rooms with scrumptious bed linens, all beautifully appointed. The view was outstanding, but it is the staff that really makes this hotel shine. Always friendly and accommodating. They told us the best hikes to go on, and the hikes were incredible. The spa is amazing with a stunning pool, and a variety of hot tubs to soak in. My husband and I have travelled the world, and own a luxury hotel. The Grand Kronenhof is one of the best in the world. I hope we can return soon and enjoy the hotel and Pontresina' s wonderful Engadiner beer. A special thanks to Daniel Stauch, the hotel's manager of guest relations. We enjoyed a 10 day stay during summer 2021 in this pleasant hotel. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, the facilities like the indoor and outdoor pools are of a good standard. Service was always outstanding. The hotel managers represent the owner-family in such a pleasant and approachable way, which gives the service a very nice personal touch. The interior is a mix of modern and traditional elements - combined with the long history, this Pontresina institution has a lot of charm. Our children aged around 10, enjoyed it too, we have planned to return in summer 2022.
