Auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft in der Nähe von Pritzwalk fiel mir dieser Brauereigasthof sofort ins Auge, denn für selbstgebrautes Bier bin ich einfach immer zu haben. Und in der Tat, das Pils war hervorragend. Der Gasthof selbst, liegt etwas außerhalb der Ortschaft, direkt an der B 103 und bietet großzügige Parkmöglichkeit im Hof. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, fanden den kurzen Weg durchs Freie zu unserem Zimmer allerdings abends doch etwas schwach beleuchtet. Das Doppelzimmer war sauber, angenehm groß und hatte ein ausreichend großes Bad. Die Matratzen waren sehr angenehm, nur die Bettdecken waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen, zeigten sie doch eine gewisse Schwere. Ein Austausch mit den heute üblichen Mikrofaserdecken würde sich sicherlich positiv auswirken, obwohl wir insgesamt doch hervorragend geschlafen haben. Die Menükarte, des an den US-Stil der 60iger Jahre erinnernden Restaurants, ist kulinarisch nicht übermäßig ausgeprägt, doch sehr freundliches Personal macht die Auswahl einer passenden Schnitzelvariation leicht. Nur den Höhenunterschied der roten Kunstledersofas zu den Tischen fanden wir doch etwas zu groß. Ein umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot rundet den insgesamt positiven Eindruck ab und wir können diesen Gasthof durchaus empfehlen.

Ich habe hier auf Durchreise zur Ostsee Station gemacht. Ein typischer Landgasthof mit Brauerei, Hotel und Restaurant inkl. Biergarten. Der Gast wird freundlich umsorgt. Die Parkplätze im Hof sind kostenfrei. Die Zimmer entsprechen dem ausgewiesenen 3-Sterne-Niveau, nicht mehr und auch nicht weniger. Frühstücksbuffet ist auch o.k. Hinweis an das Hotel: das Licht im Flur erlischt viel zu schnell, hier sollte Safety den Vorrang vor Sparsamkeit haben.
