One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at - such a strong community, great place to make friends and life long memories. Away from much of the action in La Punta but an excellent place to stay to learn more from locals. I recommend renting a scooter to get around if you want to explore zicatela, la punta, and elsewhere! I hope to be back soon!

The staff are amazing at the property, very accommodating. The hostel itself has great amenities such as the pool, electric scooter rental and kitchen etc. The room was lovely, although it did get extremely hot and as the hostel is eco friendly there is not air conditioning just fans, so it was very hot with the wooden roof. The bed was comfortable and there was a little terrace space to hang out amongst hammocks and lots of other seating! The pool is lovely and you can play volley ball and get to know other people. The shared bathroom is on ground level behind the kitchen which is a little annoying if you need to use it at night and are on the first floor. Overall everything was to our liking and it suited us for the time that we stayed.

I had a very pleasant stay here in a mixed dorm room. All the staff were amazing and friendly offering you tips, talking to you and making you feel welcome. A special shout out to Fidel though who managed the events at the hostel. He got everybody involved and was always updating the hostel WhatsApp group chat, which guests are able to join if they want to stay updated on everything going on in the hostel

I ended up here because some of my plans changed and I ended up in one of the best hostels I’ve ever been. As soon as you get here you can feel this lovely oasis vibe. All the staff is so nice and welcoming, that makes that every person you know on the way have a great vibe. The place is so social and chill during the day and festive in the night in the bar, but only until midnight because of bed time, so you can choose on going to a club with the other guests or staying for sleeping. The hostel and bar prices are excellent. Like $30 pesos each beer and really good cocktails. I hope to come back asap!

I have heard good things about the hostel throughout my trip through México and therefore decided to book 3 days. In the end I stayed for 3 weeks. I love this place, the staff and the vibe in general. Especially through the activities with Romy we quickly grew together to a big family and extended our stay again and again. The rooms are really big, it doesn't get too hot at night because of the many fans, the kitchen has everything you need and the pool is unique. The hostel is not quite centrally located but this makes you explore much more and also the tourist areas are within easy reach.

I would AVOID this place until the owner reevaluates the staff he’s hired. A member of the staff tried to actually fight me while having a disagreement about the social events of the night prior. He stated that since I accidentally knocked over and broke a beer bottle that I did not know how to behave while drinking and would not be allowed to stay here anymore. Even though this is Puerto Escondido (a party vacation destination) and I was not the only one drinking, this guy must have some pretty serious personal issues to try and physically assault a guest. I also recall that prior to this he was oddly cold and unwelcoming as if he had a pre existing issue. I’ve worked in several hostels and stayed in 100s I would avoid this place if you want to feel safe and welcome on your journey. Even a small amount of fun will set this guy off. It’s a shame because the owner Erik is very nice and welcoming (so I’ll give 2 stars). He just needs to reevaluate his violent staff members.

La position de l’hostel est parfaite, à 20min à pied d’Ado et des plages. L’ambiance est vraiment bonne et ils organisent pleins de choses sur place. La piscine est à la parfaite température et le petit déjeuner à 100 pesos nickel également. Nous avions une chambre double puis nous avons prolongé en dortoir, rien à redire. Le seul point négatif serait la chaleur le soir mais cela est communiqué qu’il n’y a pas de clim donc on ne peut pas se plaindre. Nous avons également loué un scooter sur place pour 350 pesos un jour.
