Nice room, good location, some areas to improve
Clean updated hotel near restaurants and walking distance to several attractions and the convention center in Richmond. Checkin was very nice and staff stored bags for us since we arrived in early afternoon. No parking on-site but there is several paid and one free garage nearby. Doesnt include breakfast - if you buy cooked breakfast, it’s about 30 minute wait as there’s only 1 staff member. Our food was good though we did have an issue with spoiled salsa that we notified staff of. One thing to improve property: please put out coffee in the morning. The bistro serves Starbucks but only starting at 7:30 and quite honestly I’d rather have drip coffee. There was a water dispenser in lobby but it was drained and not refilled even after I notified the staff.

Great location , and might return , ac units didn’t cool rooms down as well as other Marriott locations I have been to. However I don’t want to make something out of nothing just became difficult for myself and my wife to sleep good. For a quick overnight it did what it needed, staff was very friendly

I liked the layout of the hotel, the courtyard was quaint. I do wish there was a shuttle to the airport, but I thought it was a great stay for the cost.

Gym was very good.
I was not advised or aware that there was complimentary shuttle service, even though I advised that I was flying in to Richmond airport prior to check in on the phone. I Could have saved big time on two uber trips to and from the airport on the courtesy shuttle.

The property was ok. I would probably not go back. One of my kids came home with a tick. I did report to the hotel. Also, when we checked in they put us in the wrong room which was an inconvenience. Staff was very friendly but the rooms could be better. I would like a refund if possible.

Paid bistro breakfast for four didn’t receive any no staff at the bar to serve, had to get the complementary breakfast which I didn’t know they had or I wouldn’t have paid for bistro breakfast, which I still didn’t get.
Valet couldn’t park my Chevy Tahoe in the lot because it was too tall so I was told to park it behind the parking lot in an unsecure unmonitored dark rundown alley with poor lighting and security. Drug users up and down the side alleys.
