Wellton Riverside Spa Hotel

From the airport we took bus #22 and within thirty minutes we had arrived near the city centre with a brief walk to the hotel, check-in was smooth and staff were welcoming. Our assigned room was in the building behind the main building which is on the busy riverside road, it was spacious, spotless, quiet and comfortable over our three night stay. The room amenities included a microwave, electric jug with tea/coffee, coffee pod machine and an iron. The bed and pillows were comfortable, controls for the air-conditioning and Youtube on TV. Breakfast was served in a large canteen style room with a variety of long communal tables and tables for two to four people. There was a comprehensive selection of food and drinks including sparkling wine, hot and cold dishes, it was surprising to see Kimchi and other Korean pickles on the buffet. Omelettes and fried eggs could be ordered on demand. House keeping is available on request but we found they attended after two nights anyway which was much appreciated. The hotel was well located for exploring Riga and handy to the train station.

Amazing stay! The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient—always willing to help with anything you need. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The rooms were spotless, we are three adults booking they let us stayed in two connected rooms. Beds are comfort enough. Perfect location just at the side of the Old City. We came from Tallin and left to Vilnius by bus, the bus station just 3 minutes walk. Everything about this hotel was excellent—I highly recommend it!

I stayed there for three nights and paid for a river view room. And I requested a room of higher floors. However, when I checked in, they only provided me a third-floor room on a property of 8 floors. The hotel mainly served tour groups. So crowded people and noises sustained everywhere, especially during breakfast time. The only advantage of the hotel was the location as it is located close to the old town.

Hotel has Great staff. Location is easy. The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. I can stay this hotel again.

The hotel staff wouldn’t go out their way to help - also we didn’t realise till we go there the pool and spa isn’t included in the price

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is excellent—I walked from Riga Bus Station in about 12–15 minutes with a large suitcase, and Riga Old Town is only a 5-minute walk away with plenty of restaurants, cafés and attractions nearby. The hotel is also located along the river, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk or take a river cruise for just €15. I also appreciated the luggage room, which allowed me to continue exploring after check-out. The room was cosy, clean and perfect for a solo traveller. It had everything I needed, including a kettle, coffee, tea, minibar and a smart TV where I could watch YouTube. The hotel also has spa facilities, although I didn’t get the chance to use them. I also enjoyed a light meal at the hotel restaurant. The only downside was the soundproofing. I could hear people walking in the corridor and doors closing, and there were occasional noises from the room above, especially in the morning. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Lovely hotel, great location was walking distance to the old town and also the bus station which we needed. The room was very large and spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful, overall a great stay

We had long weekend at Riverside hotel, front desk service was very good and very friendly! Location is good, everything is I walkable distance- restaurants, bars and stores! Hotel have nice SPA! It’s small but you can find sauna you like and enjoy pool! Only huge minus is cleanliness! During all stay nobody did cleaning.. just change towels and make up bed!
