"This was my first time staying at Mousse, and before checking in, I'd read reviews on several platforms, including negative ones. I even called the front desk beforehand to inquire about the issues mentioned in those bad reviews. After receiving patient replies, I still felt confident in choosing Mousse. On the 25th, around 2 PM, Manager Dou showed me to my room. Her service attitude was surprisingly excellent, completely different from what the negative reviews suggested. Service attitude and quality are very important to me. She was patient, kind, and flexible. Manager Dou elaborately responded to everything we discussed. For example, when I mentioned needing good lighting, she said I could call the front desk if I needed more lights. I was also given a free upgrade to a suite, which was very nice. I saw other room types too, and they all looked great, offering excellent value for money. The photos below are my actual shots, though I'm not sure why I couldn't upload live photos, and they turned out a bit blurry. To show my appreciation for the hotel's service, this is my first time writing an honest, positive review and taking pictures for it. The hotel was very quiet at night, and every time I ordered takeout, the robot delivered it quickly, which was super convenient 👍. I will definitely choose Mousse again when I come back to Dongguan."

"Came to Dongguan for the weekend with friends and we booked a quad room, which was quite spacious. There seemed to be a self-service tea area on the first floor, but we didn't use it. Although the beds were two separate large beds, we managed to push them together as much as possible. The only minor issue was discovering the shower gel bottle was broken when I went to shower – but it wasn't a big deal. The hotel is in a lively area with plenty of restaurants nearby, making it convenient to find food."

The hotel environment was comfortable, and the front desk upgraded my room to one with a beautiful lake view at night. We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM on Sunday, but it was so crowded that we had to wait until past 2 PM to even queue for check-in. My elderly companions had to wait for a long time during their usual nap time and sat on the sofa for ages. We didn't get checked in until after 3 PM. I hope the hotel can staff up on holidays to improve efficiency. It's a shame that some facilities at the water park were closed for maintenance, leaving only attractions for younger children. Perhaps because it was fully booked the day before (Saturday) and there were so many visitors, some of the hot spring pools felt quite dirty and the water was a bit murky when we went to the water world on Sunday. However, the water quality was cleaner on Monday morning. Hygiene definitely needs improvement.

The B&B room is named after 24 solar terms, connecting several small courtyards, large scale, some surrounding houses have been dilapidated, the overall environment is affected, and the flowers and trees are slightly under-care. The decoration of the bathroom is too simple and simple, the bedding is comfortable and clean, it is recommended to be equipped with disposable bath towels. Staying at the homestay can be free of 30 yuan tickets. A Regent private kitchen restaurant at the door tastes good and locals often patronize. It is convenient to live in the scenic spot and slowly feel the tranquility and beauty of the ancient village of Nanshe.

Staying with our child was so easy and stress-free. The hotel was very clean, and the room was spacious enough. Our kid absolutely loved playing on the big lawn outside the restaurant. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely recommended for families with children.

Although the hotel is a bit old and its exterior color isn't eye-catching, the interior facilities are very well-maintained. Most importantly, the surrounding environment is absolutely beautiful, situated by Songshan Lake with stunning views everywhere you look. The buffet dinner was abundant, and the food looked appetizing. It was very popular, with many Hongkongers and foreigners present. The food was constantly replenished, and the service attitude was exceptionally good.

This trip was incredibly enjoyable for me and my family. The villa facilities were excellent, with a swimming pool, karaoke, and mahjong (though our family of four didn't play). A pool table would have been even better. One suggestion: add some hooks to the bathroom walls for hanging towels or clothes! The bathroom and toilet floors were a bit slippery; adding a floor mat would be helpful for absorbing water and preventing slipping. Overall, we were very satisfied!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel initially with colleagues and later returned with my family for another fantastic experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff members were friendly and accommodating, and the highlight was the spacious and enjoyable swimming pool. We especially loved the indoor jacuzzi pool, adding to our relaxation and enjoyment. My family had a wonderful time and felt completely relaxed during our stay. We are looking forward to returning to the Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel in the future.
