Romantic Hotels in Qingdao

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The lobby is stylish, and the room was clean, bright, and well-laid out, with comfortable bedding that made for a great night's sleep. The staff were polite and efficient, responding instantly to any requests. The breakfast offered a complete spread of both Western and Chinese options with fresh ingredients, and all the facilities were top-notch. I felt right at home. Five-star recommendation! The location is superb, close to the subway and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room cleanliness was meticulous, even in the corners, and the amenities were high quality. The service was genuinely warm and thoughtful, without being overbearing. The hardware, environment, dining, and service were all impeccable. This hotel is now my top choice!

Whenever I visit Qingdao, I always choose the Seaview Garden Hotel, and I'm consistently satisfied. During peak season in Qingdao, especially summer, you might encounter delays with check-in. A few days ago, the front desk at the Mangrove Tree Resort simply brushed it off, saying 'that's just how it is during peak season.' Here, however, the front desk staff apologized repeatedly while continuously working to sort things out, and the final outcome was still satisfying. Although the hotel is a bit older and its facilities might not be as high-tech as newer hotels, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. This stay, I noticed some of the room furniture had been updated. The basement floor has play facilities for children of all ages, along with a projection room, DIY workshops, and more. The outdoor swimming pool is a saltwater pool. The hotel is also right across the street from the beach; while you can't swim there, you can go clamming during low tide. Kids can have a great time just staying at the hotel. The staff's service attitude is outstanding. Besides daily fruit and mini-bar drinks, they also provide small dolls and calcium milk biscuits for children. Since we drove, the staff even cleaned our car spotless every day. Basically, everything other good hotels do, Seaview Garden also does, and they go even further by paying attention to small details that enhance the guest experience. I'll definitely choose Seaview Garden again on my next trip to Qingdao.

Service: Acceptable. Cleanliness: Decent. Breakfast was good. Environment: Great location, right by the Marina Bay Sands. Facilities: The room had a fantastic view, directly overlooking the light show. It was a loft, open-plan, which the kids loved. The tatami mat meant we didn't have to worry about them falling off the bed. The upstairs bathroom didn't have a door. Overall, the value for money was good, and it could accommodate more people.

The location is convenient, right next to May Fourth Square and MixC shopping mall, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Metro Lines 2 and 3. The room faces May Fourth Square directly, offering a view of the sea. We could have watched the light show from the room at night, but we arrived back late and only caught a glimpse of it. Upon check-in, we were offered a choice of Laoshan tea or beer (one or the other). Breakfast was decent, and the service was excellent. A unique service they offered was free shuttle service to and from concerts. The driver even waited for us late at night to take us back to the hotel, which saved us a lot of hassle. The hotel also has an city terminal where you can check in and check your luggage directly. Although we had an early morning flight the next day and didn't use the baggage check, we did book a shuttle to the airport at 7 PM for 30 yuan per person. This saved me from dragging my luggage and transferring subways. Overall, while the hotel doesn't have trendy, 'influencer-style' decor, it has its own classic charm.

This was my first time choosing an Atour Hotel, and I was a bit worried after seeing many reviews online mentioning this particular one was old. However, after checking in, I found it perfectly acceptable – not as old as I imagined. There were some minor signs of wear and tear in the decor, but overall, it was a comfortable stay. The hotel is right outside the Yan'an 3rd Road Metro Station exit, just a couple of steps away. Next door, there's a 7-11, Youke, and Luckin Coffee, which is incredibly convenient. The front desk had several young staff members, all very friendly, and they offered parcel collection services. I booked a Jǐmù twin room, which was very spacious. There was a large area in front of the sofa, enough to open three large suitcases with plenty of room to move around. My only minor complaint would be that the room only had one small table and one chair, making it difficult to set out multiple takeout meals or dine together comfortably. They restocked four bottles of mineral water, two bottles of their brand's tea, and one Coke every day, which I really appreciated because the tea was delicious. Room hygiene was decent, although the toilet was a bit old with some marks, and the toilet seat had lost its soft-close function, often slamming shut with a bang. However, these were all acceptable. For us, the price matched the quality. The only real inconvenience in the room was that the bathroom and toilet shared a single sliding door. This meant that when you closed the bathroom, the toilet was open, and vice versa. If someone was using the toilet, no one else could shower simultaneously because there was no separate door to close. This was not ideal when staying with a friend. Furthermore, this door couldn't be locked from the inside, so we were constantly on edge when showering or using the toilet, fearing someone might carelessly open it. The cleaning auntie had a great attitude. The only issue was on the third day when we returned to find the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned (only dirty towels and trash were removed), and our used bath towels weren't replaced with clean ones (later, the cleaning auntie told me she wasn't working that day, so it was likely an oversight by the substitute). After she found out, the room was cleaned meticulously every day afterward, and she always provided a sufficient number of fresh bath towels and hand towels. We requested a crib. During our 7-night stay, one night, my child's diaper leaked and stained the crib bedding and sheet. We informed the front desk, and they promptly replaced the entire set of crib bedding, which was very satisfying. Breakfast at the hotel was abundant with a wide variety of choices and very delicious. The shrimp, in particular, was large and fresh, and the braised duck wings and feet were also excellent. They had freshly cooked noodles, as well as freshly fried eggs and dumplings. The only minor negative was that the staff member clearing tables had a somewhat brusque attitude and loud movements. These minor shortcomings are negligible, and I would still highly recommend staying here. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. In fact, because of this positive experience, I will prioritize Atour Hotels when traveling to other cities in the future. A special thanks to the front desk lady who assisted me on my check-in day!

The view from the room is everything, and the cats living there are absolutely adorable. The location is also very convenient for getting around, with some sightseeing spots within walking distance. I especially loved the large bathtub, which was important to me. If you’re expecting a 5-star hotel room, you might be a little disappointed, since the interior is fairly simple. But for me, as a lazy, chill, easygoing solo traveler looking for some quiet time, it was the perfect place to stay.

The apartment's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right above MixC Mall and the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. It's also very close to May Fourth Square, just about a ten-minute walk. The room itself is neat and cozy, with comfortable bedding and excellent cleanliness. It even comes with a kitchen, washing machine, and refrigerator, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation – all the home amenities you could ask for. The value for money is outstanding, and being on a high floor means the view is incredible. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties are very warm and helpful; the service is truly top-notch.

My trip to Qingdao was a bit rushed, but overall it was good. I chose the Sanfu Hotel, which is very close to Yan'erdao subway station. The Lvsi seafood nearby was absolutely delicious!

The location and views are great, directly opposite City Balcony. However, on the second day, I noticed issues with the room cleaning. They didn't check items, and the toilet paper wasn't replaced even though it was almost empty. On the third day, the shampoo ran out, and I requested a refill when the room was cleaned, but it was still an empty bottle when I returned that evening. I had arranged for a late check-out the day before, but the cleaning staff knocked and entered the room around 10 AM on check-out day. The 'do not disturb' sign was completely ignored. They just said, 'The group chat told us to clean.' At other Marriott hotels, they would at least call to verify before entering. Here, they just walked right in without a single call.

This hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options. The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children. The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season. By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.
