Venice Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Not too shabby a place to stay if you would like to visit Venice. However, I’m puzzled why my room key’s been removed from the card slot after we came back. Also, I’m surprised with the housekeeping opening our room door even though we are only staying a night without the need for housekeeping."

"The room's location was decent, but since it's not on the main island, we had to pay €15 per person daily for the hotel shuttle boat. Also, the hotel provides NO complimentary drinking water! NO complimentary drinking water! NO complimentary drinking water! A small bottle of water costs €6, and there's nowhere nearby to buy any. If you don't want to fall into this trap, choose this hotel carefully! On our first night, I messaged the hotel asking how to get there by boat but received no reply. We ended up taking a public ferry and then lugging our luggage across a bridge. For guests who aren't strong, it's best to confirm arrival methods in advance! The most outrageous part was being overcharged €48 upon checkout. They charged me for another room's bill (my room number ended in 0, theirs in 6). The signatures were completely different, but they didn't even check. It took ages, and they had an attitude like they were doing me a favor by finally letting me leave. Absolutely ridiculous!"

The hotel can take you to Mestre train station for free the next day, and pick you up at night, which is very convenient."

A taxi wasn't too expensive, costing 15 Euros. However, there's a convenient direct bus service between the main island and the train station. You can buy bus tickets at the hotel front desk; I recommend buying a couple extra. Otherwise, it can be a hassle if the ticket machines in the city are broken or there are long queues. Breakfast was quite good, but the windows couldn't be opened, so I kept seeing dust and lint floating around in the room. This seems to be a common problem with hotels where you can't open the windows."

The walk from the airport to the hotel took 15 minutes. The road is good, with a 100-meter stretch of unpaved road along the shoulder. A shuttle is also available for €15 per person (by calling). Check-in was quick. The room was clean, with good linens and towels. The breakfast is excellent for Europe, with a good selection, including an omelet with bacon and a variety of pastries. A city bus stop to Venice or Mestre train station is nearby."

"This hotel is in the quiet Lido~ If you exit Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, you need to take the Line 5.1 water bus (45-50 minutes) to Lido Station. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation. For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... Chinese stomachs have to overcome themselves. Travel is also quite convenient. If you need to go to the main island or other islands, walk 1.1 kilometers to Lido Station to take the water bus."

"Ho soggiornato al Green Garden e la struttura si è confermata un'ottima scelta per chi cerca tranquillità. L'hotel si trova in una posizione strategica e molto silenziosa, ideale per riposare lontano dal caos. Le camere sono accoglienti, ben curate e offrono una bellissima vista sul giardino interno, che è il vero fiore all'occhiello della struttura. È stato un piacere svegliarsi e poter fare una passeggiata nel verde appena fuori dalla stanza. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e disponibile nel fornire indicazioni sui dintorni. "A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus."
