Harlinger Lodge

this was a great find. good value for london . easy check in and a very quiet location. clean and comfortable with tea and coffee and an shared kitchen which is a really nice touch. the bus stop ( 177 ) is only a five minute walk away and you can get to the o2 with the bus and tube hub in only 20 minutes. basically you can get to westminster in about forty minutes from your room. couldnt fault the room and will definitely be staying here again

Harlinger Lodge, Greenwich was easy to find once off the motorway from the North. Easy check in, we checked in early, so remember to ask and if possible, they might agree. We were in room 3 which looks onto the back. The room and ensuite were fairly clean and comfortable with good, basic amenities. Microwave, fridge, kettle in our room and in the communal area was a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron with board. Our host, whose name I can't remember, was really nice and welcoming. The public transport links to North Greenwich were great for both buses and trains/underground. Very easy to use. Good place to stay if you're going to the O2 or sightseeing in London.

Seriously this review could look like a paid advert. we stayed here on the last leg of our 5-week trip to the UK. we choose Woolwich because we have family nearby, so it was convenient for that as well as its proximity to London. As hosts, Gamal, and his wife could not have been more helpful, courteous, and friendly, making us feel completely at home. They spent time explaining the easiest way to transit to London, an excellent rundown on the facilities etc. The room was well kitted out with Microwave and a fridge, cutlery, etc and was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the bedding crisp and fresh. There is a communal kitchen with a free-to-use washing machine and dryer, a rarity for free use from our experience. the site is on a quiet street with only one way out so no pass-through traffic, well insulated from outside noise. the site is a short walk to bus stops which take you onto Woolwich and beyond heading east and to Nth Greenwich terminal to the west, from there it's a very easy transit into London on the Jubilee tube line. When we return to London, space permitting, on the dates we will be there, this is where we will stay again.

Excellent hosts, couldn’t do enough for you, excellent cleanliness. A little gem of a place, highly recommend. Ideal for the O2, great for buses, shopping, and visiting the London sights. Price was reasonable. Will definitely be using again.

Gamal was so helpful to us from the very start. From collecting hubby from the bus stop to just being a friendly welcoming husband and wife team who really have passion in their accommodation business. The property is well decorated and clean! Full use of the kitchen including microwave so you can bring your own home cooked food in to heat up. Also includes iron/board. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a fan and a hairdryer. Tea/coffee facilities. Shower gel and towels provided for those who want to carry less. Wooden floors in rooms so you may hear people walking if they are in the room above you but that didn't bother us as we find wooden flooring more hygienic than carpet anyway :). Plenty of parking on the street as well as the drive. Local bus close by too. With what started with a very long horrible and tiresome drive into London ended with a great weekend spending time with husband and good friends and a truly pleasant stay at Harlinger Lodge. Gamal gave us the option to check in early, and was there to greet us when we arrived to explain the lodges features. Parking wasn’t allocated but we had no problems finding a space, we parked a little bit further down road and there was also an apartment car park 30 seconds round the corner which always had spaces. In this car park there was a cut through to walk across the Thames river which was lovely! We followed this to the left and had breakfast at the arts cafe, would highly recommend this place, huge portions and very tasty food, would expect to pay more than we actually did. Bus stops are everywhere you can either get the bus to woolwhich station and catch the Elizabeth line or catch a bus to the 02 stadium and get the jubilee line into central London. Would recommend getting the bus to greenwhich park aswell for some good views of the city. Our room was nice, little bit small and our tv didn’t connect to channels very well, however you can’t complain for the price you pay.

Excellent location for going to a gig, accommodation excellent and management friendly and very helpful. Would recommend.

The hosts are lovely people, location is great and I have stayed before. The only disappointment was the cleanliness. There were visible finger marks on light switches, cupboard doors and an accumulation of dust around the side cupboards and bed. I have stayed before and would stay again but would like
