Good hotel for a stop on a road trip.

We got to our room and started to put things away. Found out the fridge did not work and while checking to see if it was plugged in
I found food, socks, water bottles, and trash behind the desk under the TV. I have a picture of needed.

The hotel was nice, clean, and new. The pool was small. The area did not have much to offer. The hotel is by a dead mall and close to the highway.

Lack of staff. You call the front desk and are put on hold. No one ever comes back. You have to go down to the front desk to get service and you wait in line.
Our first room was not made up. They had to switchus to another room. Our second room was not serviced the second day, bed was not made, room was not cleaned and no towels were replaced.

Very clean and relatively close to Lake Michigan beaches. Just wish there were more restaurants nearby and wish the area felt a little safer.
