This hotel was a quiet little patch of paradise, where we could savor the peace and the birdsongs off the little private terrace. There is a large grocery store 4 minutes away and an artisan bakery as well, so we stocked up the mini-fridge in our room. Saint Paul de Vence was an easy drive away and we were able to enjoy it late and early without the crowds. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely enjoy returning here again someday.

Travelling as a family with 2 children, we had a lovely stay for a week at the end of August. The owners are very charming and create a calm low key relaxed feel to your stay. It couldn’t have been better. We had a family room with a large double and two single beds. The room was very spacious and the air-conditioning worked well. The weather was very hot for the time of year but the room and the swimming pool were very cooling and relaxing. The buffet breakfast had an excellent selection. It’s a short drive up to the village of St Paul which is beautiful and our preferred place for dinner. There’s an open air shopping mall a very short drive back towards Nice. We’d definitely stay again next time we head to the Cote d’Azure.

The hosts are very charming and really make you feel at home. We had a wonderful week together in very relaxing and comfortable accommodation with a large well air-conditioned family room (large double. And two singles). There’s a nice swimming pool to cool off in with plenty of sun beds and we had a private outdoor terrace with two sofas and a coffee table and another table and chairs. There’s a games room with pool table and a boule court. It’s very well located between St Paul village (definitely the prettiest location along the Cote d’Azure) and Cannes-sur-Mer and there’s good open air shopping mall nearby with some chain type dining options (Italian was good and we had some good burritos for lunch). We would definitely stay again here.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Les Bastides St Paul. The room was spacious and we really appreciated the large and comfortable bed, and simple things like the large wardrobe space and daily cleaning made it feel very welcoming. The room’s private outside terrace was great, it felt private and the fairy lights were a nice touch- we spent a lot of time out here. It was good having a fridge in the room so we could keep our snacks fresh. The pool area is very well maintained with plenty of loungers and green space, and sometimes some relaxing lounge music on the radio! We only had breakfast once but this was very tasty; for €13 each this would add a bit onto the bill though if you were to have it every day. There are many great things to do in the local area - car recommended as it’s not that easy to walk from the hotel as there is a fairly busy road. We drove up to St Paul de Vence as well as Haut Cagnes, very pretty locations. LeClerc hypermarché and petrol station only a few minutes drive away. We would definitely like to visit again and thank you Joel for your hospitality!

Reception: Gentleman was very helpful and walked me to my room. Room / facilities: Room number 14 is on the 1st floor. It is very clean and spacious, with a separate bathroom and toilet within the room. Comfortable queen bed and supportive pillows. The room has a self control air conditioning with a glass door that opens to the balcony which overlooks the stunning pool area. The room has tea and coffee facilities, complementary bottle of water, small fridge, safe, drying rack extra blankets pillows, bath tub with shower and separate toilet. The hotel has a beautiful pool area with parking. Parking: is available at no cost Wifi: Complementary and good speed a password is required. Breakfast: Available for additional cost, but not utilised on this stay. Conclusion: Perfect quiet location slightly out of St Paul and 40 minutes from Nice city. Letdowns: Lack of bench space in the room. Location / Nearby: St Paul Major shopping mall area and ****** is a 5 min drive or 20 min walk. Fast food and supermarket are nearby to the shopping mall. Petrol station 2 min drive from the mall. Getting to hotel: Best use GPS

We booked 18 rooms and the owners welcomed us very nicely in this quiet hotel. Very clean and nice swimming pool. We had a nice breakfast on the terrace round the corner from Saint-Paul de Vence. Strongly recommend!

A lovely little hotel close to the city of Saint Paul de Vence. We found the owner and all the staff super friendly and helpful. The property has a nice swimming pool and most rooms have terraces and a nice comfortable interior. The breakfast was good with extra attention to the crepes for the kids ! If you are looking for a comfortable , friendly and low key place in this area we can recommend it !

Merci Joel! Very friendly couple running the hotel. Very accommodating. On a ete “le bienvenu”. We even were invited to attend the birthday party of Joel’s wife. One of the guests played the piano. The location is 5***** for visiting Nice, Antibes and Vence but you do need a car. Nice pool and garden. Dogs are allowed.
