For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as "an apar**ent" when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

It was great ! However, we didn't go out much, the breakfast was well served and delicious, simple rooms,

Old building, with little maintenance.
Poor cleaning, strong musty smell, yellowed and moldy pillows, as well as mold on the walls and ceiling. Smelly towels. Shower clogged, a drop of water coming out on each side.
The television was tiny and didn't work, we asked the reception staff to look at it: they came and told us that they would take another one to exchange, they never showed up or gave a response!
I would never go back!

Good value for money hotel, helpful and attentive staff. Nice breakfast.
Comfortable room, with a good bed, good pillows, air conditioning and working TV, the rooms are cleaned every day. The location is good, with a nearby market, good restaurants, and a good beach to drink coconut water and enjoy the view.
