Very convenient location near central bus/train station. Easy to move around Salzburg using the guest mobility ticket provided by hotel. Big lobby area with lot of seats and places for dining. Kitchen a a bit snall and stuffy. Room is confortable but no air conditioning but it is ok temperature is 6-10°C just open the window if you want cool air.

Honestyly, I stayed at the A&O Hostel in Salzburg and had a mixed experience. The room was very small for the price, which felt a bit high compared to what you get while i was in Vienna. The reception area was often crowded, and there seemed to be only a few staff members handling everything. That said, the staff were very helpful and friendly despite being so busy, which I really appreciated. It’s an okay option if you’re not too picky, but be prepared for tight spaces and some waiting around. But the location is so close to station just 5 minute walk. You can see in my photo i use my linen to serve as a curtain during my sleep. Sorry this only photo i take.

Affordable price with simple breakfast served. Strategic location just 5 minutes walking distance to Salzburg main train station. However, no kettle and cups provided. Overall, still considered worth it.

Location is very convenient. Just 10 minutes walk from the main station. Room is clean , comfortable to sleep.

The location is very good that it only takes 5 minutes walking from the Salzburg Train Station. Supermarkets and restaurants are just located in the vicinity.

Booked a twin room but was upgraded to a 4-bed room as twin rooms were sold out. One of the beds were too soft and sinks in when you sleep. There is no kettle in the room, you need to go reception if you want hot water. I had checked out of this hotel on 10Sep and check in again on 12 Sep. They unfortunately does not allow me to leave my luggage in the hotel overnight eventhough I’m checking in again as they don’t tag guests luggages and luggage can go missing. Location is great, very near to the Main Station.

Easy check in, but with a lot of information needed. I just write the essentials and that’s it. Location is superb, 3min walking distance to the Train station. This hostel also has its own PAID luggage storage at the back of the lobby. I did mine at the train station. Yes, you are given the bedsheets and pillow case. You would have to do your own. Thankfully we are not required to bring it down during checkout. Thankfully for my room and bed, the USB port and light is working. There isn’t any air-conditioning, but it gets cooler at night. Be sure to prepare ear plugs because of noisy vehicles outside the windows. Cleanliness is ok. But there are still dust and dirt and old rubbish below the beds. If not, it is a rather good stay for its location

The hostel has a fantastic location with extremely convenient public transport. Other than that, it's pretty average. It's perfect if you're a heavy sleeper, but for light sleepers, it could be quite challenging as there's constant coming and going, making it difficult to get a good night's rest.

I'd categorize this as a hostel, and for my first experience, it was definitely worth recommending. The distance to major attractions is exactly as advertised – easily walkable or accessible with a city card. There's a shared kitchenette where you can boil water. It was a valuable experience for my children, teaching them about communal living, valuing shared resources, and the spirit of self-help and community. Their slogan, 'Every one can travel,' is proudly displayed above the bed. On the downside, the lighting in the room was quite dim, making it unsuitable for reading.

It's advertised as a hotel but is essentially a hostel, which accounts for its slightly lower price compared to a proper hotel. The location is quite good, being very close to the main train station. Upon entering the room, there was an odd smell, though the room size itself was decent. My only real complaint is that I wasn't aware when booking that luggage storage isn't complimentary.

This place is conveniently located near both the train and bus stations. There are plenty of eateries and supermarkets nearby, making it a great location—especially for the price. There's even a bus stop right outside the hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room we stayed in was a bit small, but my friends had a much more spacious one—so I guess it depends on your luck. The water pressure in the bathroom was strong, though there was a bit of noise from the showerhead. There’s no air conditioning, but the room stayed quite cool at night. They have a laundry room as well, though you need to pay €5 for the washer and €4.50 for the dryer. Soundproofing isn’t on par with a hotel, but it was still acceptable for me. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
