My family of three stayed at Hidden Valley over spring break for three nights. This is one of our favorite places we have ever stayed and were sorry to leave! The valley view #2 was amazing--we could hear the birds every morning and it was so lovely. But the BEST part was the staff! We were so well taken care of! The staff thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The food was delicious, the property tour with Chris was amazing, the tour of Xunantunich with Marvin was awesome, and everyone we came in contact with was so friendly, helpful and professional. This was also a great home base for our trips to Tikal and the ATM cave as well. A special shout out to amazing service by Chris, Brandon, Kenny, Marvin, Romel and others!

My friend and I just got back from 3 nights at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge (which wasn't nearly enough time) and all I can say is what a magical place. It's the only Belizean family owned resort in the area and everything from the service to the 7,000 acre property was top notch. There is so much to do on the property itself (you must check out Butterfly falls) but anything off property is handled by the amazing concierge team and on certain excursions Hidden Valley guides lead the way. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful, the food by Sean Kuylen was delicious, and the property itself was just so peaceful, it exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you to Einer, Richard, Brandon, Marvin (our wonderful Caracol tour guide) and really the whole team for making our stay an incredible one. 10/10 would recommend Hidden Valley to anyone planning a vacation to Belize, I can't say enough.

A beautiful, family run lodge. We stayed in a villa and awoke each morning to the most spectacular and peaceful view of the pine forest. The details of this hotel were incredible and no ask was too much. The hotel had recently undergone refurbishments and now it is an extremely high quality. The excursions on their land to the waterfalls and hikes were incredible. I did a Mayan cooking class whilst I was there in an open air kitchen, such a fantastic experience. The pool is beautiful and there is also a hot tub. The cocktails were also delicious. Absolutely no bad words to say about this place, do not hesitate to book!

Chef Sean Kuylen's new weekend "tapas" menu, featuring locally grown food and authentic Mayan flavors, is fantastic. We loved every delicious mouthful. The Lodge renovations, too, are lovely, and the brand new "fire tower" suite is breathtaking. We never knew that so many vistas, waterfalls, and sparkling swimming holes existed at Hidden Valley. This is indeed a hidden treasure, and we plan to be back soon.

We stayed in the fire watch tower in February. On arrival we were treated like royalty with cool towels and delicious drinks. Our car was valet parked and our luggage was brought to our room promptly. Quick tour of the main lodge and restaurant and we were off to the tower. The best service everywhere! Front desk to restaurant and tours. Everyone was amazing! Highly recommend staying in the tower. The view is great! And watching the mist rise while having breakfast on the patio is an awesome sight. Comfortable and very clean. We ate at the restaurant which was beyond incredible. All unique dishes and all were delightful. We did a property tour which included swimming in waterfalls and hiking. The views were out of this world. Would stay again if we ever get back to Belize.

The newly renovated and reimagined Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge was like a fairytale adventure. We booked 3 nights, stayed for 4, and are already planning our trip back. This review is long but there are simply not enough words to describe how amazing it is. The Property: There are gorgeous spaces to enjoy, both indoors and outdoors. Over 90 miles of hiking trails across 7200 private acres with complimentary shuttles for easier access to the 7+ waterfalls on the property; they even give you walkie-talkies for communication - I highly recommend the property tour to see everything all in 1 day. The beautifully landscaped lighted outdoor pool and hot tub area has daybeds, lounge swings, and dining tables that are perfect for morning coffee time, afternoon cool offs, and nighttime soaks. The lodge itself is newly renovated with a beautiful dark wood rum lounge, a light and warm reading room, a coffee and breakfast space, and an airy dining area. Views in every direction for miles look out into sub-tropical pine mountain wilderness. The property is tucked away about 15 minutes down a well maintained dirt road; it took us about 2 hours total to drive from the airport. The lodge provides transportation with all tour bookings so no need to worry about the wear and tear on the rental car during the stay. Endless activities available through their concierge, I could stay 2 weeks and still feel like I missed something. The Accommodations: The property is secluded with 12 cottages, 2 newly built villas, and 1 fire-tower; that are all well spread out, providing ample privacy. We were lucky enough to stay in both a cottage and villa during our visit!! The Estate Cottage had an extended bathroom, a soaking tub complete with bubble bath and local bath salts, an outdoor shower, and a fully-screened porch (furnished with a hammock, dining table, & additional seating that made for a great "office" during our stay). All units come with a wood burning fireplace and large comfortable bed! The ceiling fans were perfect for keeping the room cool. At night we fell asleep to the sounds of wildlife, crackling fire, and overnight rain - it was like a sound machine gone wild - such an unbelievable experience. Perfect blend of cozy and comfort. The 2 new Villas are a modern marvel and reminded us of premium accommodations in the US -including a private deck and plunge pool (hot or cold!) overlooking the mountains, an indoor/outdoor living and dining space, A/C, 3 showers (indoor/outdoor), cloud-like bedding, and a well appointed kitchen. A 2nd lock-out bedroom is available if needed. The units are perfect for those seeking luxury modern amenities during their stay. Decor and design is elegant and tasteful. Great for extended stays! The Food: This was a highlight of our stay. Foodie heaven. Chef Sean Kuylen has created a Belizean culinary experience that alone, is worth a stay. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner menus are thoughtful, creative, and hyper-local (everything

This was an unbelievable experience. The lodge is beautiful and the staff here is very accommodating and enthusiastic about making your stay here the best! The rooms were comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch during the rain. The staff was so sweet and amazing with anything we asked for. Kristopher was able to book a tour of Mayan Ruins and cave tubing with a great guide Vien. Food was a 10/10 with so many options on their menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. Jose, Sevilla, and Alfredo was on top of service and made sure to welcome us by name from the first day. The manager was always around to help us with any questions we had. We will be coming back! Thank you for the wonderful memories 💙

Loved staying here. Our cabin was lovely-- we really enjoyed the wood fireplace! The restaurant meals were always delicious and the care that goes into each dish is apparent. We did a tour on our way in to Xunantunich with Marlon, who was so great and we learned so much. We also did a property tour with Marvin and he was wonderful -- so cheerful and knowledgeable. Butterfly Falls is a must-see. The staff are all very professional, friendly and quick to help with questions and provide recommendations.
