The hotel was great. We had a two bedroom apar**ent that was clean, modern and very spacious. One bedroom had a king bed and the other had two twin beds. The balconies had amazing views of the ocean. We had a full kitchen and made breakfast most days. The hotel shares amenities with the AC hotel next door, so we had access to the gym, restaurant and pool. We were able to walk to everything, beach restaurants, shops and market. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Wow! I reserved the only room available for my 1 week stay in Santa Marta. It was a 2-bedroom apar**ent. The room was modern and new and even had a washing machine. I was upgraded to the 19th floor and had wonderful views of the sea and the town. The breakfast was tasty and the pool was nice as well. The building seems to house the Marriott, private residences, and the Grand Marina Suites. Top notch!

This is the best place in all of Santa Marta. It is tastefully designer furnished. I like all the little touches of a well-managed place, like little pouches of the local gourmet coffee in the well-equipped kitchen, the luxurious white cotton sheets, and the fluffy white towels. Everything is spotlessly clean. The front desk staff speaks some English and the manager who seems to be always on call speaks fluent English which is an absolute rarity in this town. I have stayed in Santa Marta for almost three months and checked out a number of accommodations. The swimming pool which is shared with the Marriot hotel is comfortably large for even more serious swimmers. If one does not want to leave the building there is access to the Marriot restaurant. But the place is only a short walk to the famous restaurant square Plaza de Novios. The supermarket Carulla, Colombia's answer to Whole Foods is just around the corner.

Upgraded to larger suite on the top floor - fantastic view, modern and spacious suite, great and informative service by the evening front-desk staff (morning and daytime front-desk staff very unfriendly), very walkable neighbourhood. The only reason not to award 5 stars is that money went missing from our safe (which I forgot to lock before leaving the room one morning - so I share in the responsibility).

I will recommend this property to anyone. It was really great, beautiful view, comfortable for family, very safe location and close to the marina and a lot of restaurants and places of interest. The apar**ent was fully equipped including a washer, which is a most. The personal was really attentive. The only bad thing was that there wasn’t hot water.

Property has ocean, mountain and city views from a 650sq ft unit that shares hotel restaurant and infinity pool. Great value and modern amentities within a 5 minute walk to the pier, beach, shopping and nightlife
