Kimpton Aysla Mallorca, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is incredible. It’s the second Kimpton I’ve stayed in (London also) and I am obsessed. Everything is perfection… the decor, food, rooms, spa, staff. My husband and I went for 4 nights without the children and it was everything we imagined an more. I’ve never felt so relaxed - most of our time was spent in the spa as the weather wasn’t great. Food- I loved the som tam salad and burrata salad the most but it was all amazing including the yummy breakfast. I also had an amazing massage & facial which I couldn’t recommend more. Looking to go back in September and make it an annual trip. Massive shout out to all the incredible staff- so friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. You are in for a treat if you are planning a visit.

Beautiful resort location with great foods and drink and really able to recharge. The spa is magnificent and a great gym. The staff is fantastic and making your stay unforgettable. They are making sure that you get a lot of Personal attention.

A luxurious resort with great spa facilities, the team is always taking the extra mile to exceed your expectations, which is the norm for IHG Hotels, F&B is one of the strength points of this hotel, definitely recommended if you are looking for a luxurious vacation!

Overall we really wanted to like the Kimpton Mallorca but service was just so poor. The rooms are beautiful and the resort is brand new. It’s gorgeously designed. The AC in the rooms is excellent (never a given in Europe!) and the shower pressure is fantastic. The balcony in our room was fantastic, large and very quiet at night. The pools and pool beds are nice. But the service! No towels replaced or picked up at the pool. No staff at breakfast - you just walk in and stand around trying to figure out if you should sit down. When you sit down someone finally runs over demanding your room number. There’s an a la carte menu at breakfast, but we only received the menu at the table once out of 3 days, and no one ever asked if we wanted to order from it so we never actually got a chance to try it. Coffee service is slow and you have to flag everyone down. Pool bar was similar. Once I was standing and someone came out asking if I had been helped. I said no and he said “well my colleague should have helped you.” I ended up just getting up at every meal and walking over towards a waiter and asking for something. Disappointingly the pool restaurant was closed because October is the start of low season, but the weather was 30C and lots of people were by the pool. Overall just really disappointing for what I perceive to be an upscale brand at Kimpton.

A fantastic hotel with great staff. Top quality location, food, ambience and everything you would want on holiday. Congratulations on running such a wonderful place. We had an amazing time and look forward to returning next year.

This hotel is really lovely, it has a beautiful garden, located next to the greens. The room was wonderful, and the bed - I slept like a princess :-D). I enjoyed the Spa, the indoor pool, a very good breakfast, and what an amazing restaurant with Asian fusion cuisine. Loved it! Last but not least, a big thank you to the super friendly staff. They made my stay more than pleasant! I will defintely return to your hotel!

lovely modern hotel located in nice med gardens, service was good snd bar and restaurant staff were great, friendly and attentive…. staff on front desk great too! only let down were chefs were slow on putting food out snd menus are limited… pool areas are at high standard.

We simply cannot say enough good things about this Kimpton property. From the staff to the accommodations, the food & beverage options to the landscaping & spa, everything was fantastic. A last minute choice, we are so glad we made the trip and hope to return soon! First Impression: From the moment we were brought to the front of the property, we knew we had made a good choice. The property, its parking lot, edifice, & landscaping, was in immaculately kept condition. The entrance is humble with only some orange trees, shrubbery, vines, and some small understated branding. Getting There from the airport: This hotel is located in an isolated, quiet residential neighborhood, nearly a half of an hour from the more active city of Palma, & it offers a wonderful serenity. Coming in the off tourist season as we did made it even quieter. For those who might wish to explore the island, beyond the resort, parking for the rental car you will want is inexpensive overnight. Staff Experience: 5/5. Excellent. The staff was truly wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. All guest-facing employees we met were stellar. The team’s collective vibe really felt just right. Fancy enough, informal enough, real. Alina made us feel genuinely welcome. We loved seeing the enthusiasm Aitara showed for the brand. Miguel, history scholar, was very social & made us feel quite comfortable. Laura, the front office manager, was very kind, as she aided us with modifying our airport transportation and check out. Special thanks to Carolina S., who not only answered our usual guest questions but also took time to show some room types & explain a great deal about the property. Our stay would truly not have been the same without her. We thank all these any others who may have contributed to making our experience what it was. We felt the #kimptonlove Accommodations: 5/5. Excellent. We were assigned a “King Premium” room type, (1304), and we were very happy. Our IHG Preferences of a room on a high floor that is away from the elevator were accommodated. We slept in a King bed, watched television from the sofa (where a third person could reasonably sleep), and snacked on an amenity at the small dinette table provided in the room. It had a balcony for lounging with a nice view and the fully stocked minibar offered many drink options. The bathroom included a rain shower w/ separate tub & direct bathroom access to the balcony. Design elements were chosen from the locality and create a stylish & modern, yet relaxed feel. Other accommodation options were available. We learned to book the Presidential Suite if one would like the private hot tub on your balcony and your own olive tree for martinis. Essential or classic rooms are perfect for the restaurant, bar, pool, gym, or spa-dweller, but the view may not be optimal from your room. Families may prefer a couple of essential rooms, since some of those do have connecting doors. If hammocks are your thing, corner rooms with pri
