The Vasilicos

The Vasilicos has been a remarkable experience that we shall repeat again someday. From start to finish everything was perfect. The view was out of this world! We will never forget this kind of view! Waking up everyday and seeing that was our favourite thing! The breakfast was amazing! Chris served us every morning and always with a smile! He was also very kind to help us with our luggage! Thank you Chris! Also a huge thank you to the housekeeping team! They always checked on us and always cleaned our room to perfection! The one who deserves all the credit though for making our stay so comfortable and so memorable is the concierge, Dimitris. He was amazing in every department. He contacted us first via email before our arrival, arranged everything for us and then we met him at the hotel and we couldn’t be more grateful. He made our trip look so easy and we didn’t break a sweat! To The Vasilicos, thank you so much for making our first trip to Santorini so memorable! We will never forget you!

We had a lovely time at the Vasilicos. We stayed in the King Cat suite, which is really cute, but then they upgraded us to the Vasilicos honeymoon suite, which was huge. The view from both rooms was to die for too. Lunch at the hotel is reasonably priced also and the food is lovely. But most importantly, the staff are lovely. A special shout out to Chris who is an absolute sweetheart!

I was searching for a long time to find the perfect hotel and I came across this magnificent hotel with the most amazing staff. We returned a few days ago with my wife and we still can’t believe how great our stay was. Special shoutout to Dimitris who helped us with everything. Breakfast was amazing and our favourite! We will definitely be back!

I could not have asked for a better place to stay on our honeymoon. My wife and I stayed at The Vasilicos in October and had the best stay. The concierge, Dimitris, took care of everything from start to finish, always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we could think of. The room was impeccably clean thanks to the wonderful staff who always spoke to us in passing and were beyond helpful with any question we had. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was our favorite and Chris took excellent care of us during our stay. We enjoyed getting to know the staff and would consider Dimitris more like family after our stay! I recommend this place to everyone who considers Santorini as their next destination.

I can’t speak highly enough of The Vasilicos. The location is perfect, the views are even more beautiful in person than they are in photos, and the rooms (we stayed in the King Cat and Pergola suites) were lovely! Everything was well kept, clean, and comfortable! However, the staff is what made this a place we plan to visit season after season. Dimitris, the concierge, was so unbelievably helpful via email before our stay— answering every question, arranging transportation, offering so many great ideas for activities, restaurants, etc. Once we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and was eager to help us finalize our plans and ensure our honeymoon was perfect! We couldn’t believe it was his first season or that he was so young but handled it all like a true professional. Throughout the week, he started to feel more like a friend than just an employee of the Vasilicos. The breakfast spread was delicious every morning but it wouldn’t have been the same without our chats with Chris. He kept us full and always laughing! The housekeeping staff always checked in with us and asked how we were, if we needed anything, and even told my wife happy birthday! We truly couldn’t have had a better experience! When we left, we made sure to say “see you next year”—because we plan to!

We had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights in April. The staff are friendly, helpful and fun to be around. Stayed in the Daphne suite which I highly recommend. Breakfast served on our private terrace overlooking the sea. Highly recommend this unique hotel!

The entire property is very elegant with private rooms and exceptional views. These are the best views of the caldera. The entire staff's warm and personalized service was truly special. A big shout out to Dimitris and Chris and chef John and everyone in housekeeping! My toddler celebrated her 3rd birthday here and the staff made a surprise birthday cake for her which made her day! The service has been above and beyond in general. This is a boutique property with just seven suites. This makes it a truly elevated experience in Santorini that would be hard to replicate. I cannot say enough about the view from the expansive private terrace of our suite! We didn’t want to go anywhere else with a view like that! Perks also include excellent breakfast served at your room with a view and convenient on-site parking.

This hotel is an experience not to be easily repeated! The views onto the Santorini islands, the walks along the caldera and the quiet elegance of the suites are out of this world. The service and personal attendance by Christos and Dimitros was uotstanding

We searched for many months for the perfect location and hotel to stay for our celebration. DO NOT hesitate to book The Vascilicos !!! The views both in the morning and at sunset (even the after sunset glows were incredible) are truly memorable. The staff and service were excellent. The breakfast, drinks, lunch, and the on our balcony private candle light dinner are not to be missed. The staff goes the extra mile for you and arranged pick up, a 1/2 day private boat for us, all our dinner reservations, an in room couples massage and drop off for our next location on the island. Thank you !!!
