We enjoy our stay in Summer Holiday. 10-min walking distance to the peak and all the dive shops. It’s good to keep some distance from the peak as the area there is a bit crowded and untidy. This hostel is tidy and clean. The staff clean the room every day. There’s a share balcony with provided clips/clothes hangers to dry the clothes.

The room overall is pretty clean and downstair has a nice local western cantine, 15mins walk to the dock.

We did not expect such a small private property of hotel with this cheap price can provide so lovely and clean room , room is super clean , not very big but enough for 2 person and with all basic equipment that u need , simple breakfast and helpful staff , everything is good , will come back again if have chance .

Very clean rooms and comfy beds. Suggest add some 2-in-1 coffee or coffee kòsong for snack bar. A few eateries withing walking distance.

It's very good to live in Semporna, with high cost performance. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. There is a paid laundry service (30 minutes or 15 minutes to use the washing machine). It is convenient to go to the sea! It is convenient to go to the seafood market and the pier. It costs about 4 ringgit to take a taxi to the pier when it rains. There are free bread, coffee, tea, small cakes and biscuits, which are convenient for simple meals when going out to sea! There is a place to dry clothes, which is convenient! The air conditioner will blow to the head of the bed, and it needs to be turned on and off in time. The Wi-Fi is fast and convenient to use! There is a refrigerator, you can cool your own drinks! On the second day of check-in, we found a huge cockroach. We thought it was normal to have cockroaches. They crawled under the sheets and killed us. Then we asked the front desk guy to change the sheets. We also took away the thin mattress on the Simmons mattress. When we checked out on the third day, the front desk lady said that we had stained 5 sheets. We only had 3 rooms for 3 nights. She said that there were pen marks on the sheets that the children accidentally drew on when they were drawing, and there were also iodine marks on the sheets that were scratched when they went out to sea. They said that they would have to pay 40 Malaysian ringgits if they couldn't be washed off. At that time, I thought that if a car came to pick us up after checking out, we would pay for it. After paying, we sat at the front desk and waited for the car. After a while, the hotel owner came over and told us that 40 Malaysian ringgits was not enough and asked us to pay 100 Malaysian ringgits for a sheet. I Baidu showed him that 75% alcohol can wash it off, and it is normal for us to stain the sheets when we sleep here. I said that there were cockroaches in your hotel last night and I didn't say anything. You are asking too much. He asked me if I took photos. I said no, so I asked him to check the hotel surveillance. The guy even came to my room door with insecticide. I said I had killed them and went back to get the sheets. He said there was no surveillance and no cockroaches. If you don't pay, call the police. Then he called the police. Finally, his wife called him and he came over and said he was too impulsive just now. Sorry, welcome to Malaysia, haha. Anyway, no matter what, although I didn't take photos of the cockroaches, I came and the photos that the police brought later proved that this review was true. Please stay in a better hotel and don't be misled by the comments on the Internet. This is the first time I have encountered a person who has to pay for dirty sheets.

You can ask the boss lady to help you book an island hopping tour. The price is favorable and the quality is good. It's only more than 200 per night. It's great value. You can go island hopping on the day of check-out. You don't have to worry about luggage storage. There is also a toilet for washing and changing clothes. Thank you so much
