Hotels in Gangdong/ Walkerhill, Seoul

Generally, we were happy with our 4 nights' stay at the hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. It is extremely convenient to access restaurants and cafeteria. Lotte shopping mall is just beside the hotel. Just cross over the road and would be able to find Olive Young shop. The only downside is, quite distant from the town area such as Myeongdong. But with a merely less than 5-minute walk to the Mrt Station, it is still considered convenient for us in terms of transportation.

The room was clean and spacious. The soundproofing was solid and I couldn't hear the hallways or other people's voices at all. I was happy that I could use the minibar for free. I used the restaurant once in the morning, and the view and food were good. It was a bit pricey but I was satisfied. I also used the bar on the 16th floor once, and although it was expensive, I was satisfied because the view and atmosphere were good. And the best part was the ***. I was able to make a little profit from the ***. It's outside the city center so it's a bit far from the airport, but there is a subway station nearby and there is a free shuttle bus to that station. There is also a bus to Incheon Airport, so I think it offsets that. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel and I plan to go back someday.

It’s a decent hotel, for a reasonable price. It’s quite far away to walk to the subway, around 15-20 mins. There is a bus stop right in front of the main entrance though. Lots of convenience stores nearby, which is convenient. However, some of the rooms smell like cigarettes and smoke, even thought it’s stated that it’s a non smoking room. Luckily, they helped us to change rooms the next day.

Although it is called a hotel, it is located on a main road and has a good appearance, I wonder if it is actually a motel? I thought so because of how quickly the check-in was, the receptionist's clothing, the dim lighting everywhere in the room, and the amenities. However, there were no particular problems staying there. It is close to the station, there is a bathtub, there is a 24-hour mart next door, there are mobile phone chargers installed, and the amenities are plentiful and the bathrobes seem to be good (I didn't use them). I saw people coming and going during the day, but I got the impression that most of the guests were overseas groups or solo travelers. However, I would not recommend it for families. Also, although there are towels, there are no bath towels, so be careful.

I had a specific requirement to be located nearby Dong Seoul Bus station so DongSeoul hotel was just perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping mall, Gangbyeon subway station (Line 2). Cleaning service was daily and the staff is kind.

Instead of a summer vacation, I visited Vista. Because it was a vacation season, there were a lot of visitors, so it took a while to check in. However, when I went to the check-in desk, the staff greeted me with a kind smile, so I didn't even think about the time I waited. They upgraded my room and treated me kindly, so I felt good even before I stayed. I would like to thank Yoon Ji-young who helped me check in👏🏻 The view was a mountain view, and the green colors were soothing to the eyes because it was summer. The room was very spacious, and most of all, it was really nice that there was a water purifier in the room! Vista has a free minibar, so I was able to have drinks, highballs, and snacks, and it was convenient because I could order room service items through the app. The room service food was large and delicious. The bathtub was also very spacious, so it was good to take a half-body bath. The bathroom and shower room The bathtub were separate, so it was more comfortable. The cleaning was also clean. I think it was a really good choice to stay here instead of a summer vacation👍 This is the only hotel in Seoul where you can enjoy the mountains and rivers, so if you want to enjoy both, I highly recommend Walkerhill!

Great Location! Right in the middle of Seongsu area surrounded by many trendy cafe and shops, MRT station was also right across the hotel. Room and toilet feel slightly cramped, but great that hotel have a self-service laundry area. Overall it’s a value worth hotel if you are panning to stay in the vicinity.

The quilt is a bit dirty. The others are pretty good. The little brother who cleans the room is really handsome. I want to have a high and handsome contact.

Great experience at hotel boutique 9, train station (although not at a central location) was right outside the hotel and hence easily accessible. Our experience was amazing due to the staff who were extremely helpful and ready to assist at anytime (from midnight to early hours of the morning etc), while always being courteous and pleasant. Convenience store right downstairs and many restaurants (especially selling jokbal) around the area. No laundry service but there is a laundromat about 3 minutes away by foot. Room was clean and spacious, would recommend if you’re looking for a place that’s affordable and comfortable!

It was Seoul, but it felt like a resort in the suburbs. It was quiet, so it was nice to take a walk in the evening. Snack time or dinner time for a quick bite? this It's small, so it's nice to be able to fill your stomach lightly. Time for a boring mouth haha The service that smoothly picks you up and picks you up with an electric car when you go to the main building is also very good haha
