Suites Murillo Catedral

The location is superb, and the room is large, clean, and beautiful – I'm very satisfied! Plus, there's a mini-bar offering complimentary drinks. I do have two minor complaints: 1. The curtains don't block out light effectively; they're smaller than the window, letting in a lot of light. 2. I was traveling with a minor and requested a quiet room, but the front desk still assigned us a room on the first floor right by the entrance. We could hear every sound of people entering and leaving the hotel very clearly because the courtyard gate is heavy and makes a loud noise when opened and closed. Everything else was perfect!

Location: Perfect! It's a one-minute walk to the cathedral and a few minutes to the palace. Tucked away in a small alley, there's not much foot traffic. Although the room faces the street, there are no restaurants right outside, so it's generally quiet (though one morning there was some construction noise next door). Check-in convenience: This was the worst part. This hotel brand has several branches in the old town. The one we booked was the closest to the main attractions but also the furthest from the other branches. We were required to check in at a designated branch first, and then had to drag our luggage for 10 minutes to reach our actual hotel… Staff guided us but didn't help with luggage. What's more, on our second night, our key card stopped working. We called the hotel and ended up waiting outside for over half an hour before someone came to bring us a new one. I strongly suggest the hotel set up a reception desk at this particular branch, given its distance from the others. Facilities: Excellent! The room and bathroom were both spacious, and it came with a small kitchen equipped with all necessary pots and cutlery. The room was cleaned daily, and bottled water and Coca-Cola were replenished. The only downside was that the curtains didn't close properly or block out light effectively, making the room too bright in the mornings.

Great location. Spacious. Refrigerator restocked daily (2 cans of beer, 2 cans of cola, 2 bottles of water), and even dishwashing. Check-in is more than 5 minutes away from the property. This is a common inconvenience when staying in an apartment, so it wasn't particularly inconvenient. The most inconvenient thing was that the shower drain didn't drain properly, causing water to overflow onto the bathroom floor.

A fantastic stay, right behind the cathedral, very quiet, and the hotel is lovely. It has a terrace where you can enjoy a coffee early in the morning or a beer in the evening. Although there's no bar in the hotel, the suite does have a capsule coffee machine and beer, water, and Coca-Cola in the minibar. The facilities were very clean, and the bed was huge and very comfortable.

The location is very convenient, the attractions are right at the entrance of the alley, and there are all kinds of restaurants and famous stores. Overall it is very good. There is also a kitchen where you can cook for yourself, which is great! The only downside is that check-in is a bit confusing 😰🤣

Everything was great, excellent location, close to the center. The room was very spacious and quiet. Plus, there was free fruit and drinks in the fridge, courtesy of the suite. Highly recommended, I would definitely return.
