Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Jing'an

This Fairfield by Marriott hotel boasts a great location, right across from Zhabei Park and near Daning International Commercial Center. I booked a short-stay room to shower and relax after a workout. It’s a 'small but perfectly formed' type of hotel. The room isn't huge, but the layout is smart and the design clever, which really maximizes the usable space and makes it feel bigger. Everything you need is provided. The shower was comfortable, and the bed was too! I appreciated the quality of the toilet paper and facial tissues, and the complimentary bottled water was a good brand. Overall, a very positive experience. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and the room doesn't feel dated. The front desk staff were quite friendly, and there's even an area with a microwave, which is a great little detail. There was one minor issue: I had booked a short-stay room with a 6 PM checkout, but at 5:45 PM, housekeeping knocked on my door. I told her I would be checking out at 6 PM, and she just stood outside the door waiting, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic in terms of location, value for money, and service! It's really close to the subway, making it super convenient for getting around, and the room itself is very quiet. I highly recommend it for independent travelers!

The hotel room was exceptionally good, and the location is superb, very close to the metro station. The hotel's services were also great, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

This was my first time staying at a hotel so close to the subway, and the experience was fantastic! Right outside, you're in the bustling downtown area, which made shopping incredibly convenient. Yet, it didn't affect how quiet the room was at all. For this location, the value for money is absolutely unbeatable! I highly recommend it to anyone traveling independently.
