Very good hotel in the heart of the city . Delicious breakfast with wide range of choice . Spacious room good service .

It was our anniversary. They upgraded us and even gave us a room number that means I love you in chinese (1520), honestly that was really sweet of them, even gave us a wine bottle as a gift. The staff is so friendly and kind. We delivered some items and they were delivered when we were out, they collected it and kept it safely with them at the lobby. Their food (we ordered it in our room) was amazing. One of the best stay I have ever had. Really recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Shanghai,

I had a great stay, the staff at the hotel was very friendly and the room was clean.

Had a lovely stay at the Intercontinental Pudong. The hotel is centrally located near a few transit stations and is relatively near the Bund. The rooms are comfortable and have been recently renovated. The staff are incredibly friendly from those at the reception and concierge to those at the food and beverage locations such as 777 Bar and the executive lounge. The food has a good variety and there are excellent room service options. Excellent staff in the lounge I would like to highlight include Monika, Andrew, Chloe, Zoe and Jolly who all helped to make my stay particularly enjoyable.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Whenever we request for ice, pillow or fan, they responded swiftly and tried to help as fast as they can. The breakfast buffet had a diversified selection from local Shanghainese dish to western food choices. All my family member could enjoy very much. The room is spacious and clean, nice stay overall speaking. Location wise, it is close to a few malls within walking distance and MRT nearby.

It is within walking distance to Century Avenue and the mall with a variety of cuisines.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly spacious and spotless, making for a very comfortable experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The in-room dining was delicious, with a great selection of dishes that exceeded my expectations. A special shoutout to Melinda Zhao from Guest Relations—she could not have been nicer! Her warm hospitality truly made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

Good condition

A very good and special trip in Shanghai. We would like to thank Vivi for her attentive to detail and excellent room cleaning service. Knowing that we are drinking more water, she will provide more bottles after room service. The breakfast is well above expectations. Every dishes are cook to the perfection and I loved the pan fired dumplings which are well better than the famous one.

Our family’s New Year stay at the Shanghai InterContinental Hotel was unforgettable. The spacious rooms and festive touches made it truly special. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide range of delicious options for every taste. Clean 5/5. Its central location made exploring Shanghai easy, yet the hotel itself was a perfect retreat. The only downside was being asked to pay to heat up food, which felt unnecessary regardless of the amount. However, this didn’t overshadow the overall experience. For a luxurious and family-friendly holiday, this hotel is an excellent choice.

High standard room with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast is delicious. Service is very proactive. Conveniently located near two different subway lines.

We enjoyed a one-night layover in Shanghai and selected this hotel due to its convenient location, making travel easy with Didi or the Maglev train. While we booked a Classic room, Ms. Meilinda graciously upgraded us to a Junior Suite, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable stay. We easily explored nearby malls on foot, enjoying both dinner and shopping. The hotel provided a delicious and well-prepared breakfast, and we slept soundly. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. We extend our sincere thanks to all the hotel staff for their excellent service and making our trip memorable.

We booked 2 rooms and got one room upgraded. The rooms are very spacious with all needed amenities. The services are excellent, all staff are nice & helpful. But the hotel is very outdated and old although it is well maintained. The breakfast is perfect with variety of choices and everything is delicious. We had a good time and experience during our stay.
