Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao Reviews

We managed to check in 4 hours early thanks to an opening managed by Spawn Li at the front desk. He was super helpful and got us set up in no time. The room was much larger than expected with a super comfy bed. The on site restaurant has great buffet options! Would definitely recommend.

The Grand Park Hongqiao Hotel is a long-standing property that has been open for quite some time. It boasts extensive grounds with a large number of rooms and numerous conference facilities, characteristic of an established star-rated hotel. This makes it particularly well-suited for corporate annual meetings or marketing events. My family and I stayed here for a holiday this time. The rooms and service were impeccable, and the gym facilities were professional and varied. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed, but we were otherwise very pleased with our stay. Given its proximity to the airport, the sound of planes taking off was a bit disruptive at times. The happy hour food was delicious, though the variety was a little limited.

Facilities: The room is well-equipped with a fridge and a safe. The fridge was functional with excellent cooling, a crucial feature for summer guests. The room's power card system allows the air conditioning to remain on even when you're out. Disposable earplugs were provided, a thoughtful touch considering its location near Hongqiao Airport where aircraft noise is inevitable. However, I didn't find the noise to be an issue inside the room. The TV remote control could benefit from a proper, snug-fitting protective cover instead of the ill-fitting plastic bag. Cleanliness: The room was generally clean and tidy, though naturally, there were some signs of use. Environment: Parking was convenient. The elevators have clear light indicators upon arrival, a helpful feature to prevent missing your lift. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast, while not extensive, offered a decent selection including congee, coffee, bread, salad, fried eggs, sausages, steamed buns, and a small live cooking station. Overall: I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. At this price point, especially with breakfast for two included, there's really nothing to complain about. Service: Upon check-in, I received a complimentary drink, and a polite young man kindly helped carry my luggage to the room.

This was the first time that I had a bad experience at a Holiday Inn: the room was dirty (it didn’t match with the IHG standards). Fortunately the manager understood the situation and apologized about it…

The room was excellent – spotless, with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast offered a fantastic, generous spread. The quiet atmosphere was perfect for a restful night's sleep. Special mention to Doris for her incredibly patient service. Plus, the hotel boasts a large and very convenient car park, so finding a space is never an issue.

The hotel has a wonderful ambiance, and Hebe provided exceptional service. The room was very spacious. While the VIP dining room for dinner didn't offer a vast selection, the limited choices actually made it easier to decide, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Qibao Old Street, just a pleasant 20-minute walk away. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave me an upgrade. The room was very spacious, well-equipped, and absolutely fantastic – truly worth it. This stay was booked as a package deal that included dinner. Though the dinner was simple, the quality was good. The service staff were very enthusiastic and attentive; when I wanted a cup of coffee, they promptly brought one over. Breakfast also offered a good variety. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

InterContinental hotels consistently deliver reliable service, and the front desk and housekeeping staff at this particular hotel were exceptionally friendly. Our children also thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Despite being close to the airport, which meant some unavoidable aircraft noise, I must say the overall stay was excellent. The room featured a heated bidet toilet seat and a bathtub, and the breakfast was very extensive. A special shout-out to Hebe Jiang for her incredibly patient and attentive service, which was truly heartwarming. Should I return to Shanghai, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

People in this hotel are very nice, especially Mr. Kyle wu , this young can help you without any complaint. And the lady cleaning service also , i stay at 2507 , she is really kind and always smiling Love it to stay here.. will definetly comeback again

Awesome hotel. Great service, helpful staff and well laid out. Breakfast is an easy one as well if you want to eat before heading out for the day

The room was big and very clean. The receptionist on the night shift was very polite and helpful and she can speak English too which makes our check in more smoothly . She was the best i wish if i can give more 5 stars ⭐️ .
