Passing through Ningbo during the summer, I made a last-minute booking at this well-established hotel. While some areas were undergoing renovation, the lobby immediately impressed me with its excellent upkeep and gleaming marble. I also found the cleverly designed little decorative features quite engaging. The front desk staff were incredibly patient when explaining the room details. I appreciate efficient and straightforward service, and this isn't an 'overly serviced' hotel, which made for a wonderfully free and comfortable stay. Both the room cleanliness and overall service were excellent. I highly recommend it.

A very standard, clean hotel. Large clean room with a good size bathroom with bathtub and shower. A short drivefrom key areas in Ningbo, good breakfast and helpfull staff.

Clean, big room, and a mahjong table. The TV in the bedroom is too small, and the bathtub is also small and shallow. It can't even cover my belly! The breakfast is too simple, with only a few items, and there is no watermelon in the summer.

The hotel service staff are very friendly. The room facilities and equipment are well maintained. It is clean and tidy. The area is large and the stay is very spacious and comfortable. It’s also very convenient for friends to come visit me. It’s cost-effective and highly recommended.

When traveling to Ningbo, I will rest on weekends. There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it is easy to find food. Very close to Qianhu, 15 minutes from shared bicycles. The room was clean and tidy, and the cleaning aunt would come to clean + replenish mineral water every day. The overall feeling is very good, and I will consider it next time I travel.

Hotel environmental services are very good, especially the front office manager Wang is beautiful and kind, breakfast is also yyds, there is a chance to come to visit 😁

I've been coming to this hotel almost every year for the past few years, but honestly, it feels like it's been getting worse year after year. If it were just outdated facilities, that would be understandable and not a big deal. However, a decline in service and overall quality is a serious issue for the hotel.

I'm listing these points for both potential guests and the hotel management to consider:

1.  **Bathroom Hygiene:** The bathroom cleaning is far from thorough. In our room, there was a half-eaten biscuit behind the toilet, God knows how long it had been there. What's worse, throughout my multi-day stay, even after housekeeping cleaned the room, the biscuit remained until I checked out. It seems that biscuit has taken up permanent residence in the bathroom.

2.  **Drinking Water:** The Panna bottled water in the room was only provided on the day I checked in. From the second day onwards, it was replaced with generic small plastic bottles. I asked the staff member responsible for restocking water, and the reply was, ”Sorry, sir, we're out of the glass bottled water in our warehouse. Here are a few extra small plastic bottles for you.” And here's the kicker: my family's room, just a few blocks away, *did* have Panna water! How incredibly stingy/lame is that? Or is the hotel trying to tell guests, through a bottle of water, that it's facing a severe economic crisis and lacks the funds to stock Panna water in advance? By the way, for bulk purchases, Panna water probably costs single-digit yuan per bottle, right? If stocking a hundred bottles in advance is too much pressure, maybe just don't provide it at all? Or perhaps the hotel can blame it on a purchasing agent who doesn't understand inventory forecasting.

3.  **Mung Bean Soup Service:** In previous summers, housekeeping would deliver mung bean soup in the afternoon to help guests cool down. This year, it wasn't delivered even once until I checked out, making us assume the hotel had discontinued the service. However, we later heard that guests in other rooms *did* receive the mung bean soup. It's not about whether we got it or not, but rather that the hotel's attitude and internal processes are clearly flawed.

4.  **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast selection has become increasingly limited and perfunctory. The most appalling thing is watching staff constantly add ice to the orange juice every morning, making it seem like there's an endless supply (but really just diluting it). Honestly, I could bring my own ice and donate it to the hotel; it's quite a pitiful sight.

5.  **Restaurant Dinner:** Dinner at the restaurant is not cheap, but considering the high transportation costs to this mountaintop location, that's acceptable. It's fine if it's expensive but delicious. But if it's both expensive *and* not good, as a hotel, you really need to reflect on the reasons why. Recall how crowded the dinner restaurant used to be when the hotel first opened. Compared to that, the dwindling number of guests over the years surely points to underlying issues.

6.  **Room Facilities:** Some seriously worn-out facilities in the room should definitely be replaced or at least deep cleaned. Otherwise, the overall guest experience is significantly diminished.

*Throughout the entire hotel, the best service came from a polite and efficient young man with yellow hair who drove the shuttle bus for guests. He was courteous, efficient, and observant – he truly deserves high praise.

The hotel's environment is good, and the surroundings are beautiful. When it was first built, you could tell a lot of thought and effort went into its design. I don't know what happened, but the current operations are genuinely substandard.

The new hotel was very nice overall. We arrived late at night, and the front desk staff, Qianqian, were very professional and quickly checked us in, introducing us to the hotel's facilities. The rooms were large, very smart, and elegantly decorated. The hotel lobby was beautiful and very upscale. The staff were all very polite, and the hotel uniforms were the best I've ever seen. The parking lot was large, and parking was free for guests. The coffee in the lobby bar was excellent; I highly recommend trying it. The breakfast selection was extensive, with a wide variety of toppings for the noodles. Overall, my friends and I were very satisfied with our stay. Five stars!

Zhaobaoshan Hotel is a hotel we especially like. Every year we go back to Zhenhai, we have to live here. We have not lived in the first two years. This year, we heard that it has reopened. We quickly booked for two nights. When we checked in, the front desk also warmly upgraded us to a suite. The newly renovated style is fresh and elegant Nordic style, bright and elegant, and the hotel's service is also particularly warm and thoughtful. We will come again next year.

I arrived late yesterday and stayed on the 2nd floor. Don't be too wet. There was a little ink on the sheets. I called the front desk to check and they said it was fine. I couldn't find the comb. I asked them to send it to me. I told them the room number twice and it was still the wrong one. The most interesting thing about the room is that I checked out at 11:50 pm today and called me at 4 pm. I angrily asked why the room card was not refunded. This suite is a dream for romantic couples. The view is lovely and the room was extremely clean. The staff is very attentive. The hot water in the shower was a bit less than shakalaka quality. Don't hesitate to book though. 💛

The hotel is right in front of the park, and the environment is very good. Although it is a little far from Lu Xun's hometown, it costs about 50 yuan to take a taxi, but we arranged our last day's itinerary in Keqiao Town, and finally chose Nanyuan based on the cost performance. The hotel is very new and well-equipped. It was very comfortable to stay in and I had a good sleep. However, the delivery robot was a little slow to get up to the upper floors, and the food was cold when it arrived.
