Nest Beach Club

This hostel was possibly our favourite hostel we’ve been to! The prices at the bar and for the food were really really good, and the food and cocktails were amazing. We loved chilling at the beach bar with a few cocktails and beer. The beach is amazing, with loads of beanbags to chill on the beach as well as plenty of hammocks and seating. They have a different event every night, and we loved them all, particularly Karaoke, Music Bingo and the Jungle party. Nestival was also amazing, with great music and great vibes up until the sunrise. If you’re planning a quiet few days stay, I wouldn’t recommend this place - it’s known for great parties until the early hours. The staff, both Khmer and western, were all absolutely fantastic, and so so lovely. The rooms are pretty good for the price. Air con in all the rooms. The private bungalows up at Nest Jungle are really lovely!! Would HIGHLY recommend as the best party hostel on Koh Rong, probably Cambodia. We absolutely loved it and we go back in a heartbeat!!! Bareable to stay at if you want to go to Nestival, in a remote location, the town is 20 minutes walk away. Rooms were basic, no hot water for shower and some were broke. Beds were big and comfy, food and drink were good. Social atmosphere with an event on every night. Must earn a lot of money need to refurb the dorm and it would be a lot better.

Do not believe the scam. All the 5star reviews are because they bribe you by offering a free 2 minute boat to the dock. Do not fall for it. The rooms are boiling and full of dogs and rats and the staff are horrid. Specifically the small skinny male bartender with long hair (looks like kalvin phillips if kalvin phillips had been hit by a bus). Nestival is really fun but make sure to stay somewhere else like lost boys and only go to nest for nestival.

Loved the beach and the atmosphere. Very chill and nice spot. The view is lovely. Just make sure bring cash! The food is great and they have something for everyone. The stag speak english and is there to help you. I would 100% go agian. Peace out.

This place would have been a 3/5. The location is amazing and the nestival is a lot of fun but i recommend staying elsewhere nearby. The rooms are boiling. The AC fell off the wall in the night not that it was even working in the first place. There are rats in the rooms and when we asked to be changed to another room the bartender Simon attempted to attack 12 of us. He is a genuinely horrid human being. He questioned all the girls on their education and stated that if we were bankers then he’d respect us more. This is coming from a 30+ year old bar tender working on a remote island 👍. He also referred to all the females here as ‘girl’ in the most condescending way possible. When we made a complaint avout said evil man Simon the receptionist Kristie proceeded to tell us that if Simon had come to wake her up and help with the rat situation she would have encouraged him to beat us up. All 12 of us, bearing in mind when he approached one he was stopped immediately due to his lack of strength. At least if he tries to attack others you can be reassured that he is a lot weaker than he looks and only his rude attitude is painful. Probably the worst staff I have ever encountered in my life and have ruined this could be lovely place.I have videos of Simon mid attacking us as I filmed the whole 10min interaction due to safety concerns. He is the one with longer hair. Simon also told us he ‘doesn’t give a f*ck about the reviews’ so that’s lovely too. Stay at Lost boys x

The staff at Nest are very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and it’s on a beautiful stretch of beach. The social atmosphere and events here make it really easy to make friends especially if you’re a solo traveller.

Great place to stay in koh rong, rooms are clean and good air con system, the food is also really good especially the pulled pork burger!! Nestival is great fun and has lots of other events on during the week.

Enjoyed my stay at nest, on a lovely beach, great food and very warm and welcoming. Great for socialising and nestival was great fun. Power isn’t great on the island but that could not be helped. Would recommend staying here especially if you want a good night out.
