I stayed in Ramada with my children for 3 nights from 12th feb till 15th feb2024 for attending wedding ceremony, which was fully booked by my uncle. As per HRACC approval it’s a 4 star hotel, but it doesn’t meet the standard and quality for 4 star. The only plus thing of this hotel are rooms which are quite spacious. At the time of check-in, reception gave us only one magnetic key as their policy doesn’t allow to provide second key and after harsh talks, I was provided with second key. Room was allotted for 3 persons, but bath towels were for only 2 persons without any toiletries accessories. As per HRACC standards for 4 star hotel there must be 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person and 1 bath mate plus toiletries accessories like dental kit per person. All rooms were provided with 2 bath towels only. Max 2 device per room can use wi-fi. Nescafe coffee of 1gm pack and only 2pkt and renewed only 2pkt. I was told by the team that if we need anything we have to call to house keeping or at reception. Feeling of staying in a guest house or in a 2 star hotel where you have to ask each every thing additionally. It seems that ***agement wants to save on each and every amenities of the hotel which they must provide to the guests as per the approved standard of a 4 star hotel. Our relative room 117 had security problem with magnetic lock, which was getting opened itself. We complained to the reception but no response for 45 min. It’s a very crucial issue of security of your belongings. Very slow restaurant service, have to wait 30 mins for espresso coffee. Room service was fantastic. I requested 2 cups of Cappuccino coffee and they served us 2 bottles of water! I’m amazed how the HRACC, India approved them 4 stars? May be with political kickback?
