Skiathos Club Hotel & Suites

Fabulous stay-very friendly helpful staff,fantastic views and quiet location with an easy reach to some amazing tavernas.we would definitely recommend the Skiathos Club.George was always available with a friendly smile to drop off and collect from the sea taxi or bus stop.

We arrived home yesterday after a 7 night stay at this hidden gem. The view from our room was breathtaking and one we will never forget. The hotel is typical Greek standard. Our room was bright and airy and of good size, we were grateful for the aircon (which is free). The bed was comfortable, we had a TV, small fridge and a safe. We had a shower, some reviews say the pressure is low and the water cold. We found if you let it run for a few minutes the pressure and temperature improved, we had no complaints with this as we have stayed on other greek islands and found this is normal for greece. The pool is a good size with plenty of beds and large umbrellas. Again the views are just spectacular. The hidden gem is the staff especially Nico and George who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Nico recommended places to visit and restarants to eat, he booked them for us and we always got a great table. George never stopped he was always busy but always had a smile on his face. He was dropping and picking up people all day. If we needed collecting from somewhere we would call Nico and George was always available to collect us. The breakfast was simple but just what we like. Toast, ham, cheese, eggs, Pastries, yoghurt fruit honey and a mix of cereals. Coffee and fresh juices. We would like to thank Nico and George and the rest of the team at Skiathos Club for making our holiday so very special. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Michelle & Alan (401)

Spent 9 fabulous nights here in June as a solo traveller. The highlight definitely was the view from the room, which was breathtaking to wake up to each morning. But also lovely clean rooms, great location, and great service from all the staff. Special mention of Nikos, George, and Max for their great service and F1 standard pick ups and drop offs at the bottom of the hill. Highly recommended

This hotel has the best breathtaking view I have ever seen. It is up a steep hill and this is why you can see for miles We stayed in room 111 and we have had the best holiday . We are leaving on the 8th July and are very sad to leave this beautiful place. The staff here cannot do enough for you every request or enquiry is sorted they all want to make you feel welcome and relaxed A special mention needs to go to Nickos and George who make you stay memorable ,two very kind and good men They offer a free car ride to the bottom of the hill so you can catch the brilliant bus service to the wonderful beaches around this side of the island. They will also on request take you to anywhere for a charge cheaper than a taxi I would highly recommend anyone that is visiting Skiathos to stay here. Liz & Paul

what a great place. a little distance from the main town but worth it just for the views. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of the loco area is outstanding. We Could not fult any of the Skiathos club team. They offer a free car ride to bus stopps close by, we had a great. Thank you Skiathos Club hotel. we'll be back

This is a diamond on top of a very steep hill. Lovely friendly and clean hotel. The views are stunning. We had a great week here. The staff went up and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They provide a shuttle bus to the bottom of the hill if you want to see the island by bus or They will run you in and out of town for a small charge, cheeper than a taxi. We loved it and would quite happily make a return visit.

Amazing views and friendly staff This hotel has huge potential but is not at a 4*standard currently is is tired and lacks pride and personal touches . Positives: Views -amazing Walking- as you are at the top of a hill everything is downhill some great walks to do off the main roads Lifts- up and down to bus stop 8 or 10 anytime of day . Staff are all helpful and friendly. Negative’s: Bar /restaurant area is actually neither 🤔 it’s a library/ lounge/snack bar /conservatory definitely not a restaurant. Menu is very basic toasties and pizza again not 4* Bar Prices- €5 for 400 ml beer everywhere else vary between €3 &4.50 for a large beer . Suggest maybe a happy hour . Could also benefit from mood lighting or candles on a evening or fairy lights . Make the bar look like a bar do a daily cocktail 🍹 Smell of smoke in the bar/restaurant area as it’s all open plan all the staff / guests smoke inside - not nice if your a non smoker. This could also be smelt at breakfast. Beds have no mattress protectors on . Mattresses are also extremely hard. The gardens are unloved and pool area would benefit from some colour and plants around the place. I think with a few changes this place could be fabulous 😊 wishing you a successful 2023 .

We've travelled around the world and this was a special break for our silver wedding anniversary. I was very very tempted to book a larger 5 star hotel with each villa having a private swim up pool at double the price and the other side of the island, but I chose Skiathos Club for the small Greek experience. Oh boy am I glad I did!!!! Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 10.15pm straight away we were greeted by Anestis, Nicos and George all with great smiles, giving us information and showing us to our room 110. We needed a drink so I got a G&T, hubby got a draught beer and a ham & mushroom pizza, cost €18 at 11pm. Very spacious room, extremely clean, views over the Agean Sea with sunrise and mountains, our room did benefit both sceneries. You need to ask for a kettle in the room if required. They could do with being a little updated but everything was functional. Breakfast was traditional Greek, cheese, ham, breads, croissants,fruits, cereals, fresh Greek yoghurt, orange juice, blackcurrant, tea and coffee, jams and chocolate spread. The water you need to run for a while before it warms up. Pool area was never full so always a sunbed available. Anestis arranged for us to do wine tasting and dropped us there, we wanted to walk back €20 each which included lots of wine, nibbles and a tour. He also advised which boat tour was the best to go on to see the Mamma Mia Church, visit beaches and Skopelos at €20 and we were driven to the harbour for €15 or €25 return. We did get a taxi one evening and that cost €14 after bartering. Anestis arranged a quad bike to be delivered to the hotel for 24 hours for us only costing €40 we met people who paid €50. Great experience exploring the island,beaches and monastery. My husband and I do sports at home and did walk up and down the hilly road quite a few times during our week, there was also a couple in their 70's who did it, you do need some level of fitness, but can always take your time and call into another hotel for a beer on way up. Or just phone and get picked up free of charge from bus stop 8. We walked into town quite a bit, it takes approx 35 minutes walking down by the beach along the taverns from bus stop 5. Anestis did explain about handing your key in and to be honest I didn't mind as housekeeping have a job to do and with the costs rising around the world I wouldn't dream of leaving Air Con on all day (as earlier review). Use the free safe to keep your valuables secure. I did my research before booking and Jet2 rate it a 3 star plus, but the reviews did it for me, my first ever 3 star hotel and loved the customer service, nothing too much trouble. Even when George would pick us up at 11.30pm then Nicos would serve us a night cap and Anestis would give us his homemade medicine (that made me sleep) haha. I would recommend booking for the amazing customer service and helpfulness of all the staff 5 star 🌟 service

I have read the review of Nicole R below. My review is to completely agree with her comments having recently stayed here for 10 days. The review is honest, fair and not exaggerated, in particular regarding the rooms, shower and food. With regards to the issue with the key, our room was indeed unlocked when we got back later that evening. The views are beautiful if you are fortunate enough to have them. If you like hiking, you could wrap it into your stay.
