"I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle.
One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains.
The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal.
I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience.
While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay.
In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. FFlying NibbaA very good It was a decent place for a staycation. the room was neat and clean, and the facilities were good as well. There was a wide variety of options at the breakfast area, although one small downside for me was that many of the good dishes were cooked with beef (which I’m allergic to).
Overall, the experience was amazing. The hotel basically has everything you need, and for a one-night stay, the price is very affordable. I paid around RM250 (about SGD 85) for a night. I would highly recommend this place to couples and families who are travelling on a budget.

Our family especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the facilities, which were well-maintained and family-friendly. It was a great place to unwind, spend quality time together, and escape the hustle of daily life.

GGuest UserOverall a great experience, saw some bad reviews prior to our holiday but I have very little to complain about. Room was clean and the daily water delivery as well as turn down kept things tidy, towels were also swapped out with clean ones on a daily basis (this is a great service, please keep it going). Service was pretty much perfect whether it was getting a buggy (really nice, we didnt have to walk anywhere within the resort) or making reservations for restaurant bookings. Shuttle provided from Nongsapura ferry terminal both ways as well, just needed to check in with the resort in advance but they have a booth at the ferry terminal regardless. SG plugs available in multiple spots in the room so no power adapter needed.
Breakfast was pretty good too but you'd need to be there before 10am so no sleeping in
Cons we experienced were 2 things - in room dining was provided in takeaway containers with disposable utensils. I understand that the distance from the restaurants as well as the steep roads probably are why this is the case but I think it takes away from the rest of the otherwise enjoyable stay. Id much prefer food on proper plates and metal utensils, there is a deliver fee on the in room dining requests as well. Rooms would be better if they contained microwaves and basic cutlery too.

MM-DRThe hotel was very pretty, the rooms were nice but the water was not warm enough for a bath and some lamps were broken. The beds were big and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had many options and there were many amenities. Unfortunately, the gym was run down with no mats to stretch or do yoga. The service was great but the checkout took too long, over 30 minutes for them to check the room. The hotel was well located, close to the harbour but a little far from the rest.

DDr. ErikI loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!

GGuest UserThe hotel's facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is acceptable. You can see monkeys and squirrels around the hotel, so for a beachfront resort, this level of cleanliness is probably the best they can do. The ocean views and scenery are stunning, and there are two very large pools that are great for swimming. It's a fantastic spot for photos. I'd say the ocean views here are among the best you'll find on Batam Island. The hotel's surroundings are very remote, so getting around pretty much requires a taxi.

YYung ShuenHad a great 3 days 2 night getaway stay at Woda. Breakfast is ala carte dish with freeflow drinks, salad, bread, some fruits and desserts (indonesian salad was super nice).
Staffs were very friendly and good hospitality, helped to carry our luggages to room.
Walkable distance to Golden Prawn 933 and Richeese area.
Need to travel by car to Nagoya or A2 foodcourt area.
Would recommend anyone looking for staying more indoor to relax, staycation or getaway from city to stay here.

JJamuseThe location of this hotel is excellent. Many attractions, restaurants, and convenience stores are within walking distance, which makes it very convenient for travelers who prefer to explore on foot.
The price is clearly reflected in the room size — the rooms are very compact, but the rate is correspondingly affordable. If you book through Trip.com, the price can be even more competitive, which makes it a good budget option.
One suggestion: I would not recommend ordering the hotel breakfast. There are plenty of food options nearby, with much better variety and value. Overall, it’s a practical choice if you prioritize location and affordability over space.

GGuest UserOverall I would say, for the price I pay, I can't complain much. Massage wise was quite good and it is 24hrs so can't complain.. up to standard, service is up to point as well. It is near two shopping malls, BCS was just right beside, while grand Batam is slightly further.
Picture is an indoor playground at BCS, worth it..
