Nicole StFRIENDLIEST Hotel in China! Honestly, these were the kindest hotel owners we've ever had the pleasure to encounter. Kind and thoughtful and helpful. The rooms were super clean and quiet. Breakfast was an absolute feast...plus it was prepared early in the morning due to our early train departure. The hotel's location in Qiantong Town was perfect and scenic. And the nightly hotel rates were very affordable. I definitely recommend staying here.

ScarletTheWandererEmbraced by the beauty of the mountains, this hotel is a true gem, offering panoramic views of bamboo forests from each room. The common dining area is a visual delight, adorned with tasteful furnishings and bathed in ample natural light. Our stay was elevated by the genuinely warm and accommodating staff, who went above and beyond to provide insightful recommendations for exploring the area.
Despite not having a car, the hotel's strategic location allowed us to embark on a delightful on-foot adventure. A scenic hike from the hotel unveiled a hidden gem—a breathtaking waterfall that added an extra layer of enchantment to our stay. Moreover, a leisurely walk down the mountain led us to a charming village nestled on the edge of a vast lake, creating the perfect setting for a tranquil sunset stroll.
Our overall experience at this haven was nothing short of magical. The thoughtful details, combined with the friendly staff and natural wonders surrounding the hotel, made it a memorable retreat. We can genuinely say this place exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning our return. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality.

The location is excellent, right by a subway exit. Our room's window directly faced Tianyi Square, offering expansive and beautiful city views. The room's soundproofing was superb, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. We especially appreciated the complimentary bottled water, a really thoughtful and convenient touch. Our room was clean and comfortable, styled with a minimalist, light grey decor that created a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. It had ample lighting and a convenient service call button right by the bed. Breakfast was light, delicious, and well-balanced, catering perfectly to a wide range of preferences. The front desk lounge on the first floor was thoughtfully designed and very inviting.

The land lady is really kind & nice, attended to all our needs & requests. They serve decent food at their self-run local restaurant & the location is within a charming village. The room is new, so if it was cleaned properly, I would have given an easy 5 stars. However, only the bed linens & towels are obviously sanitary & the rest are all questionable. But the hot water in the shower is very hot, which is a big plus & The pillows are soft & comfortable. I would recommend not to drink the water from the boiling device as it tastes funny, and keep the bathroom door closed because there’s an awful smell that comes out of it sometimes. The public veranda overlooking the mountains is not maintained at all & is dirty, if not, it would be a great spot to relax. Overall my stay was ok, especially because of the very accommodating land lady/owner.

Guest UserWe spend three nights here to explore the area and loved our stay! The owners were so kind and helpful! Despite our limited mandarin we could still communicate well with some English and translation apps. They helped us with public transport directions (two buses from Ningbo) and provided a varied tasty breakfast (even vegetarian upon our lastminute request). Nice warm shower and beautiful mountain view from the room. There are some great hiking trails nearby (see Zhejiang hiking trails app), some starting directly from this cute historic village. The village across the hill (15min walk) is also very scenic. All in all a great nature getaway from Shanghai with the sweetest hosts!

Guest UserIt's pretty good. The room is not big, but it's very clean. The bed is comfortable to sleep on. It's rare for a small hotel to have a small round table with a slate board. It's really good. It's very practical for eating takeout and surfing the Internet on a laptop. Thumbs up 👍

Rocky46From the moment I walked through the front doors, the front desk team were incredibly welcoming, polite, and efficient. Check-in was lightning fast, they answered all my local sightseeing and dining questions with genuine helpfulness, and even offered small thoughtful extras like free bottled water and local travel tips without me asking.
My room was spotlessly clean, fresh, and far more spacious than I expected from the online photos. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft, high-quality linens, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. All amenities—hot powerful shower, clean towels, reliable Wi-Fi, charging ports, a mini-fridge, and a tidy vanity area—functioned flawlessly. The room stayed quiet all night despite being close to the main street, so I slept deeply every evening. Housekeeping visited daily and refreshed everything neatly each time.

Guest UserThe decor is very Chinese, and the soundproofing is quite good. You can lie down, daydream, read a book while gazing at the lake, and quietly listen to the gentle lapping of the water. Let your mind wander – it's so comfortable! This place is perfect for urban dwellers to relax and unwind.
The steamed buns for breakfast were delicious; they were clearly handmade. This trip was a bit rushed; next time I'll stay a couple more days.
