This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! It's clean, tidy, has a self-service kitchen, and excellent hygiene, having been renovated a few years ago. The location is superb, right next to the central market and several large supermarkets. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, and I'm truly satisfied – it really enhanced my European trip. My daughter also loved it; there's a huge common area where she could play games without bothering anyone. When she got tired, she'd just crash on a beanbag and fall right asleep 💤. Highly recommend! Especially the six-person female dorms; they're very spacious and come with their own private toilet and shower. And the oversized key card from reception is super cute! 😄😄😄

One thing really upset me! The blinds in my room were broken. I reported it that same day, and the Macedonian guy told me the maintenance worker wouldn't be in until Monday. So, on Monday, I told the front desk again. The Hungarian guy there promised it would be fixed that day, but it never was. Later, when I spoke to the Macedonian guy about it, he immediately snapped back, saying he had told maintenance that they finished work at 4 PM. I thought to myself, 'Does he really need to be that angry?' Maybe his colleague didn't inform him, but it's certainly not my fault. Afterward, when I asked to change rooms, the Macedonian guy had a very impatient attitude! I think that Macedonian guy's customer service skills need some training! And one of the elevators is always out of order…

Good afternoon! When we booked and paid for the room, there was no mention of a service charge. Upon check-in, they started asking for it. We paid, asked for a receipt, and there was a delay from the staff member, then they handed us some kind of paper. The website didn't show a photo of a room with stairs to the second floor, but they put us in one with bars on the windows and access to a shared balcony. After a short discussion and a night in that room, we were upgraded to a nicer room without bars. Furthermore, it turned out that the reception desk only opens at 9 a.m., but it was advertised at 7 a.m.

When the check-in counter staff informed that the payment has not been made. Usually, because the long-term plan to travel first, the payment may not be remembered, but because this time it is almost three days before the departure, it is very definitely to pay directly online. I turned over the mailbox and opened the reservation confirmation form to the handsome guy at the counter to see the payment. The other party was very surprised because it showed different conditions with the computer, so I immediately called the supervisor to ask. At the same time, I also asked Trip.com how to deal with this situation on the online customer service. The customer service confirmed that I had indeed paid successfully and comforted me without worrying. The handsome guy at the counter also suggested that I store my luggage first and go to nearby attractions. I don’t want my delayed travel plan. ⋯ I put my luggage and turned out of the hotel. At the same time, the customer service also responded that the message has been processed. I immediately went back to the counter to confirm the status. ~ It turned out that the consumption tax in a similar city has not been paid. Five days 9. A few euros, I directly gave 10 euros to end this round! I love the small balcony of the room and I will take a panoramic view every day when I get up. Then the hotel without children should give six stars directly!

Cool hostel in a perfect location. Staff on duty at front desk 24H. Nice breakfast, kind staff. The bed was super comfortable and had black-out curtains. Would have slept very well but some people were just inconsiderate of others and slamming doors late at night. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Great Spot for Travelers — Just Be Mindful of Dorm Life I stayed here during my trip and really loved the location — super central and easy to get around. The staff were welcoming and the place was clean, which I really appreciated after long days of exploring. The only downside was the shared dorm experience. One guest came back very late, turned on the lights, talked loudly on the phone, and unfortunately got sick in the bathroom. It made it a bit hard to get proper rest. Still, the hostel itself is great. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer quiet nights, a private room might be worth considering!

Cons: Not so great initially - strong smell on the room, noise on the street but sorted out quickly. Thanks to prompt action by the management. In most of my stay, floor on the shared bathroom is always wet and no proper ventilation. Lockers are outside the bedrooms so it’s worth having a spare bag for some essential items that you need to keep next to you. Duvet slightly short for tall person. My roommate’s bed was creaking loudly even with simple movement. Pros: Near bus stop and metro station. Near to the popular thermal bath - Széchenyi, and tourist spots Heroes’ Square. Accommodating reception. Things to improve: Proper ventilation and floor rug in the bathroom. Long duvet, cleaner bedsheets and duvet cover and pillow. Overall: If you stay most of the time outside and it’s okay. Main gate always open, occupants got a key for main door but most of time it’s also open. I guess for the price, you get what you paid for.

Did not sleep well here at all. There is no privacy in the room, it's not expensive or difficult to put up some sheets or curtains. Very poor effort. It's like sharing a room with your siblings all over again. Very thin walls too so the next door group kept us awake It's supposed to be quiet after 10pm but they all late check in, as a result I was woken by 2am check ins. The socket next to my bed didn't work, neither did the lamp. The pillow is dreadful. The bed is ok. Window didn't close fully and no curtains so sunrise woke me up. Excellent kitchen, comfortable lounge areas, 3 showers & 1 bathroom. All cleaned reasonably well. Check in was easy enough, she is very friendly. The building is absolutely beautiful. The entrance is next to PIZZA ME and a money exchange/kebab store. Supermarkets nearby. Metro & tram nearby. It is in an excellent location. It was cheap and actually good value, I just didn't sleep well If you like privacy and quiet then maybe give this one a swerve

Not a hostel to get any sleep in. But excellent for the airport bus. Hostel is on a busy main road, lots of traffic noise. Privacy curtains aren't well attached and don't block enough light. The beds are incredibly noisy and the room was hot and stuffy. Sheets not cleaned Service was excellent. The man was so so friendly and kind. Kitchen well equipped. Free tea & coffee. Shower very basic and toilet was good. Just 2 showers and toilets for many people. ... 100E bus is 2 mins away. Metro, tram and bus all nearby. Tone of food options. Wifi was ok Towel is 3 euros to rent. Bring your own padlock
