Jjct268Really well kept hotel. Comfortable, good value for money, clean, good quality bedding and friendly staff. The location is also excellent. Walking distance to most places of interest in the city. Decent carpark. Readily available drinking water from machine in the lobby. Very good aircon. No fault. Room a little small but adequate and price appropriate. Many lovely places to visit in Ipoh. Hotel near to dim sum restaurants.

BBernard VoonThe hostel located near one of the corners of Dr Seenivasagam park. The shared space is well decorated and is comfortable for lounging. A simple breakfast was provided at the hostel, but i wished they had non-dairy option for milk instead. The room we got was really close to the main road so we could hear every passing vehicle till late at night. Even with the ear plugs provided, it barely reduced the noise. It's really unfortunate. If you are a light sleeper definitely avoid. Having that said, the rooms are clean and bed is comfortable.

MM.C SUFood is fabulous surrounding this neat & well maintained hotel. Staffs & Management was very courteous, friendly and hospitable. There is a 7-11 just a few steps away from this property with many ammeneties and personal items jyst in case you need. Not to mention the convenience of drinks, smokes & snacks if you need it midnight. Parking is very convenient right in front of the Hotel but municiple attendents starts summoning cars after 8am if you forget to pay for the Parking fees... Other than that, i will definitely choose This Hotel again Whenever i visit Ipoh city... Ohhh btw, there is a Nanyang Village Restaurant just opposite Lotus Mall nearby the hotel...food is fabulous and lobing owners Jim & Amy are very good chefs preparing such GOOD Breakfast & lunch... GOOD to pop by to Enjoy too😍😍😍😎🍭🍭🍭

Llocal travellersBooked family Premier room. Very huge king sized bed which can fit 2 teens and an adult with enough space to spare plus a single bed. So our family of 4 fitted comfortably in the room. Shower power is great and comes with a separate bathtub, still new. Iron hairdryer minifridge provided. Swimming pool available till 6pm, inhouse cinema till 9pm. Free Parking available. Within walking distance from most restaurants. Shares same management with Ritz garden hotel. Will book again.

Llu_with_a_viewFantastic stay! Clean, comfortable pillows & mattress (without a bedframe - not a problem for us but just so you know). Nice sized room with hanging area & shelf. Good AC. Sufficient amount of toilets/showers, & shower has hot water. The location is great, close to the train station & by many restaurants. Note: reception is inside the compound, not on the street. Check in was simple and service friendly (though one gent on the desk couldn't help us with any info on buses to the Cameron Highlands). Pool area was cleaned daily. Would stay again.

SSyakirin IdrisI recently stayed at De Botani Hotel and was impressed with its affordability and cleanliness. The price was reasonable, yet they maintained excellent cleanliness throughout, especially in the bathroom which was spotless. For those on a budget, this hotel is definitely the best choice in the area. Just a heads-up, the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, which might be a consideration for some. Also, parking is available but it's paid, though conveniently, you can use Touch 'n Go to settle the fee. Overall, my experience was superb and I’d recommend De Botani Hotel to anyone looking for great value.

The room condition is subjective.
1. The damage is not fixed before opening for the next customer use. Not affect the use of the room but is a bad presentation.
2. The curtain rail rack for the lower bed is not concealed, with a screw expose could cause the upper bed user easily get cut which happen to my daughter.
3. When renovation works are off, there is no immediate cleaning of the common area cause the whole place dusty especially the floor. I think the cleaner did come in to mop the floor later.
4. The noise from the neighboring nightclub hopefully they can be off before 2 am.

SSC wooFood and drinks are not provided. The staff has a good attitude. The room is bright and clean. The windows are large and the air circulation is good. It is not far from the center to eat and drink. I am satisfied! I will choose to stay here again when I come to Ipoh.
