Great
AAlessia MartinoVery nice place, in a good location. They provide breakfast 7-12 ( cereals, toast and jams) with water, coffee and tea all day long. They give you a towel and a big locker. Beds are big, private and comfy. Staff is nice and helpful.
They offer bike tours on Sundays, which I could not attend but wish they would rent those bikes out for the other days.

AAnonymous UserFirst stay at this new hotel in Ipoh and we are pleasantly surprised by the comfort. Location is walking distance to downtown for lots of great food and souvenir shopping. The bed in the room is great for a goodnight sleep. For hotel of this class we didn’t expect much amenities but surprised that most things are provided for comfort of guest. Even bathrobe!
The areas for improvement are:
1. Water leakage from the shower made the toilet floor constantly wet. Design default that I hope can be rectified.
2. Checkout reception was so strict with sop. Late check out. No. Umbrella. No. Everything is a no, don’t think they are properly trained in hospitality management. Management order over guest satisfaction is how they operate. No help with luggage with the guard standing to look on. Not very nice welcome.
3. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room. Had to call at 4pm for cleaning to be done. Reception accused us for putting on the no disturb sign. No apology just mere mention that they will contact housekeeping when we insisted that we switched “please clean room” sign since morning. We met the cleaner who was much nicer than the reception staff.
For a no frill stay, this hotel is nice and quiet but some may not like the fact that it’s beside funeral parlour.

Nnurul emmaLocation is surrounding with lot of restaurants.only took 5-7 min to Aquatic centre. There is washer in the unit but no hanger or place to hang the clothes. Overall is ok

AAnonymous UserCheck in & out process easy & smooth. Staffs were friendly. Cleanliness of room & toilet could be improved. Like no cleaning done before next customer check in. On/ off toggle for water heater was broken. Otherwise, could be a very good budget hotel.

GGuest UserI had one night stay with 2 family members of mine. The car park is narrow and limited, you need to be careful to park your car. Check in was rather easy and fast, no deposit was asked. Hotel is equipped with many facilities like gym, swimming pool, KTV and even a cinema. The family room I booked is spacious, you will get enough space to put 3 persons luggages. The bathroom satisfies me the most, there is a bathtub and a standing shower room equipped with 2 in 1 heater, and the water pressure is adjustable yet strong enough. However, the room Aircon swinging function is broken, it just blows in a fixed direction and may not be cooling the farer bed. Also, one side of the sofa chair was wet during my visit :(
Overall my stay is fine without much inconvenience.

Llu_with_a_viewFantastic stay! Clean, comfortable pillows & mattress (without a bedframe - not a problem for us but just so you know). Nice sized room with hanging area & shelf. Good AC. Sufficient amount of toilets/showers, & shower has hot water. The location is great, close to the train station & by many restaurants. Note: reception is inside the compound, not on the street. Check in was simple and service friendly (though one gent on the desk couldn't help us with any info on buses to the Cameron Highlands). Pool area was cleaned daily. Would stay again.

LLimStevenThe facilities and the service in the hostel are good.
The room condition is subjective.
1. The damage is not fixed before opening for the next customer use. Not affect the use of the room but is a bad presentation.
2. The curtain rail rack for the lower bed is not concealed, with a screw expose could cause the upper bed user easily get cut which happen to my daughter.
3. When renovation works are off, there is no immediate cleaning of the common area cause the whole place dusty especially the floor. I think the cleaner did come in to mop the floor later.
4. The noise from the neighboring nightclub hopefully they can be off before 2 am.

SSC wooFood and drinks are not provided. The staff has a good attitude. The room is bright and clean. The windows are large and the air circulation is good. It is not far from the center to eat and drink. I am satisfied! I will choose to stay here again when I come to Ipoh.
