GGuest UserGreat hostel! Good shower pressure, clean dorms and toilets. Spacious and fresh smelling beds lots of power sockets available in your capsule.
10 mins walk away from old town which can feel longer because it’s so hot outside but you can rent motorbike to go to Gunung Park and temples nearby.
Free breakfast is amazing! Cereal, milk, coffee and bread. Lovely staff and very nice. Check in process was quick and easy especially as I arrived late

CCHEWLocation was great and within 10 mins drive to all the popular eating shops and 15 mins to shopping area of Ipoh city centre. Free car park helps a lot and we enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool with nice aerial view of the mountains at the background. Host was responsive as they only had 3 mugs for our booking for 6 people. When we requested for more, it was brought to us quite promptly. Except for the kitchen and dining area which is a little cramped and a huge stain mark on the kitchen flooring area, it was perfect as the place was clean.

AAliciatan6388The room is clean and spacious. Slight musty smell when we check in but after running the air con for a short while, the smell has disappear. Overall, its great for a short stay and plenty of good food nearby. The dim sum next door is really good too. Value for money.

GGuest UserThe hotel is good for a night stay. It is conveniently located with many restaurants nearby. It has self service check-in and check-out kiosk. A cash deposit of RM50 is required during check-in. Refunded by the kiosk on checkout. It is also equipped with a lift to the 3rd floor.

LLShannonWe travelled in a group of 3 female friends. I have to say I booked this place due to its industrial themed rooms. It's definitely nostalgic and rustic but the cleanliness is still very much up to standard. We even had a balcony and managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks in a distance. In the morning, we caught the sunrise as well. It's beautiful.
The location is best! 👍🏼 it's just next to the famous Thean Chun Coffeeshop, where you get to eat shredded chicken noodles, popiah, asam laksa, Satay, char kway teow.
Will definitely recommend this place to others.
The only one thing is u will need a little patience when it comes to service. The staff left us standing aimlessly where she went up to the room.

Just the air-con got sounds due to too old already but still acceptable for me. If you are looking for quality hotel for sure is its is not la. Haha

NNajwaI felt that this is the worst hotel i’ve ever been. I paid RM100 for such a small room.
Not functioning aircond. The aircond keep on off after 30 mins or so. And I need to turn it on everytime. I was already so tired travelling from Selangor to Perak. Too tired to wake up from the bed and need to face such problem. The hotel services crew should have check every room air-conditioning function before sell it out to customer. I would have go to cheaper hotel with better environment and space. Just the receiptionist has been treat us well.
Price wise, it doesn’t worth every penny. Uncomfortable room. And hear knocking on the wall from different room. And i can hear people outside talking.
The location of the hotel is okay. Nearby to some tourist attraction spot.
I hope the owner can compensate us for such uncomfortable stay. We sleep in sweat! Keep on waking up. The only reason we people want to stay hotel is to sleep comfortably and rest peacefully. And I couldn’t get both from this hotel. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
