Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

Great location! In front of the station. Only 100 m can walk about 1-2 mins from the station. Very kindly and nice staff and owner. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and large. It feel like home with staff. I recommend you to stay in this hotel. If I come back Zermatt again, I’ll stay this hotel again. I’m in Snow storm disaster in Zermatt on 17th-19th April 2025. Overall, the hotel itself met expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and facilities. Everything about the physical stay was enjoyable. However, the experience was significantly let down by the level of customer service. Switzerland has a strong reputation for hospitality, which made this even more disappointing. The reception staff, in particular, came across as unwelcoming and disengaged. There was no warmth, no greeting upon arrival, and interactions felt more like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The lack of sincerity and basic courtesy created an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. It’s a shame because this could have been a near-perfect experience. With even a modest improvement in attitude, kindness, and understanding of what true hospitality means, this hotel could easily leave a much better impression. As it stands, the poor customer service overshadowed what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

Amazing accommodation in Zermatt. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. They provided a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel with a short introduction to Zermatt by the driver. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The Matterhorn was just right there we can see it from our bed. Although there were some construction crane blocking a little bit but I don’t mind at all. Breakfast was also nice. I absolutely love our experience at this hotel and will gladly come back again on our next vacation in Zermatt.

the quad room is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. breakfast is superb and staffs friendly we stayed 3 nights and were luckily blessed with 1 day of clear whether at the top of the mountains. 2 ways to walk to the hotel from train station, the shorter one that google will tell u includes a steep climb (difficult if you have luggages in tow). the easier and better walk will just be to keep going straight, turn left at the matterhon musuem / church junction, and from there just a short gradual stretch to reach the hotel. very doable even with kids and luggage .

The room was completely unexpected and a complete surprise. It was incredibly large, much larger than most hotels in China. While most European hotels are like little pigeon coops, this one had a large bathroom, a spacious living room, and even enough space for an L-shaped leather sofa. Best of all, there was a huge balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. No need to wake up early or stay up late to see the golden mountain at sunrise. The facilities were complete, the breakfast was plentiful, the front desk was friendly, and they even offered luggage storage.

It is our honeymoon trip here, hotel decorated the room for us. Staff all very friendly and helpful, and we check out at 6:00am, hotel given us two breakfast set to take away😊😊, thank you so much!! Location just a few minutes away from the train station. The Room has a little kitchen, and can see the Matterhorn view.

Location was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station! Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc. the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available. The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

This hotel in Zermatt is definitely a surprise on the trip. Our group of three made an appointment in early October, because the Swiss price was higher, and the underground triple room was originally booked. I didn't expect the front desk to upgrade the room for us and upgrade to the second floor! Not only is the view very good, the balcony is intuitive to Matterhorn (I didn't see it on the day due to the weather, I saw it after checking out the next day), but the sofa bed has also been laid out and the service is in place. Less than ten minutes walk from the town, there is a supermarket along the way to meet the supply. Breakfast is rich and everything is great! There are hot springs outdoors and indoors. I often see people soaking. Every room in the hotel provides hot spring supplies. It is recommended to stay. Try to choose a regular price room, because the view is really a plus, leaving a good memory for a lifetime.

The hotel is close to Zermatt Station and a supermarket, about a ten-minute walk to the station and a five-minute walk to the supermarket. The room was spacious, with a living room and dining area, and all cooking utensils were available.
